Within about ten minutes crystal and snowflake found themselves at the XO’s office. She took a deep breath and rang the chime. Snowflake sat patiently next to her.

“Come.” came the typically terse response from the other side of the door and they slid open. Si’Rek was seated at his desk reviewing something on a PaDD, but looked up momentarily when Crystal and Snowflake entered. “Major. Have a seat.” and he lookd back down at the PaDD. “What can I do for you?”

Crystal smiled “ I thought you might like an update on what’s going on Marine side.” Crystal said casualty she looked around the room. Snowflake did as well copying her. They could not be shure that the camanders office was not budged. “ here is what I have for you sir” she said handing him the pad. It would detail the Marine’s mission on the planet as well as the files to both the admiral and the captain.

Si’Rek took the PaDD and reviewed the contents. “So if you will indulge me, Major, I just want to make sure I have this straight. The Federation is landing a Marine contingent on the planet, and they are taking part in a war-games exercise that you will be observing; while simultaneously the Admiral’s aide will be monitoring a combined exercise with multiple Special Forces units in a separate location? Is that right?”
