Si’Rek walked into the rarely used Officer’s Mess and went to the replicator. He ordered an Earth drink called ‘beer’ that he had developed a taste for while working on the planet, and sat next to a window in the empty room.

The issues arising with their current assignment were troubling, and he was getting more and more frustrated trying to dance around them.

Crystal and snowflake walked into the officers lounge. She quietly spotted the XO. She walked up to him. “ hi camander how are you” she asked.

Si’Rek looked at Crystal and then to Snowflake and back to Crystal. “Major. I am… fine.” he said, although his tone was far from normal and the scowl on his face betrayed the fact that something was troubling him.

Her ear twitched she had cought the tone. Snowflake looked at the XO actually paying attention to him. The cat tipicly ignores him. “ you are definitely not ok, would you like to talk about it or would you prefer a sparring match” she asked. Her ears lay back agenst her head and she crossed her arms over her chest. She looked at him consurned.

Si’rek looked at her and simply shook his head. “I am not in the mood for sparring. I am… concerned about our current mission. Too many unanswered questions; and when we do answer one… three more pop up.”

“Your not the only one camander snowflake and I have a bad feeling about this mission. The admiral can’t be trusted. Do you mind if we join you” crystal said.

Si’rek didn’t say anything, he simply motioned for her to be seated. But then he said “I’m not at all certain it is the Admiral alone we should be wary of, Major.”

“ you are right but he is the closest possible threat at the moment” crystal said as she sat down. Snowflake settled next to her. “ so who else do you think is a possible threat” crystal asked.

“At this point, I am wary of anyone who isn’t an established member of this crew, Major.”

“ that’s a start Camander however not necessarily efficient. Let me ask you this do you think everyone how is not an established member of the crew is in on what ever secret the admiral has planned, and he may not necessarily be the mastermind behind the entire thing ” crystal said. For the first time ever showing some of her tactical knowledge. She tended to look for patients. She wached the XO carfuly to gage his reactions.

OOC: it’s kind of interesting because crystal and Si’Rek don’t tipicly play nice, I’m in cerous what will happen next.

Si’Rek looked at Crystal, but seemed to be looking through her. After a moment, he shook his head as if to clear it and leaned forward and lowered his voice, even though they were the only ones in the room. “Major, right now I am starting to believe that there may be multiple agendas working aboard this ship that we are not privy to. And that thought is not only concerning… it actually quite pisses me off, to be frank.”

Crystal smiled at him.” Your not wrong however you need to get control of that emotion if we try an take on this problem and I end up babysitting you because your unbalanced your not useful. What do you say we work together to figure out what’s going on on are ship” she said and held her hand paw out to him.

“Major, you will never need ‘babysit’ me. And my emotions are not out of control. In fact, they are right where they should be.” he replied, not in anger, but as simply stating a fact. He looked at the outstretched hand and then reached out and shook it. “We will find out what is going on, Major. But I want to know before those involved decide to let us know, if you understand my meaning.”

“ that may prove hard then we think. I have a meaning with the Admirals pet Marine later today Maby I can get some clues from him. We will have to traded carfuly camander we are taking on an admiral and possibly some politicians as well or perhaps sections 31. There not know for anything good that’s for sure” crystal said. Giving him a clue to one of her current suspensions. As to what he would get out of it who know.
