It had been a hectic two weeks. The Curie’s new engines performed well in their tests a few days earlier, but Chief Engineer Garay still wanted more time to run simulations and tests.

All Department Heads had surveyed their departments and had given a green light to launch. Before they would leave the safe confines of the dry dock, Jessip wanted to get a final go/no-go from this Bridge crew before they would depart. After that he planned to address the crew and explain their mission.
