Abbey sat separated from the other officer’s having decided to sit alone for now as she drank her Vodka and cola. The youn security officer had been having a rough couple of days especially having met her new boss and trying to get to grips with her new surroundings. On her last assignment, she knew who she could trust, who to keep an eye on and who to avoid totally but on the >i>Cerberus everyone was a hostile territory until she got to know them, the biggest change for Abbey was that the hatred towards Xeno’s was especially rife, her last ship had at least some tolerance which is where Abbey began second-guessing the Empires motives.

O’Dell walked into the lounge and saw the Ensign by herself and walked up to her. “Mind if I join you Ensign?” asked O’Dell.

Abbey looked up and saw the XO, standing she tugged on her shirt which brought it back into place just above her belly button, where her tanned exposed sin was showing and upon it her tattoo. “Sir, of course.” She hadn’t expected to be hosting the ship executive officer but she appreciated the company, how long that appreciation lasted would depend on what time of man he was, and what type of conversation he held.
