“Is there something wrong Lieutenant?” Aaron asked as he stepped off the turbolift into Ops. He was just coming on to his shift. Looking around he could see the Captain over in his office, either talking to himself, or on the comm with someone.

LtCmdr Foley - XO

“Well I have a feeling that coms are down. None of my engineering staff are responding in Engineering and With the coms down who is the captain talking to“ he said as the Consol started to glitch out and try to say everything was fine “ not to mention every consul I seem to be touching is glitching out whenever I try to access engineering systems keeps on saying everything’s all right but I know they’re not”

Lt. Mike Knight(CE)

“Perhaps it might be worth while to stop trying to access the engineering systems then? Especially if they keep on glitching. But we don’t operate on feelings. It’s quite possible that your staff is not responding for a reason. Or that there is an issue with internal comms that is not present with our external communications systems.”

At the announcement, Ben glanced from his console. He saw his XO and CE in discussion and resumed his conversation, knowing that if it warrented his attention, they would have already knocked on the door.

A moment later, in the chair across from Ben appeared an apparition. It was translucent but clearly a humanoid dressed in a Star Fleet operations uniform wearing the pips of a lieutenant.

Ben looked up from the his console and stopped his conversation. He was not sure what or whom he was actually seeing or what (if any) danger he was in.

“Can I help you, Lieutenant?” In his usual polite manner so as to not antagonise the ‘visitor’ but to also alert the person he was talking to that they were no longer alone…

Kate stepped off the turbo lift just in time to hear Gillespie’s question toward a lieutenant. She followed his gaze to see who he was talking with…

“Lieutenant, keep looking to see what is wrong. We need something more then a feeling,” he said to Knight, keeping an eye on Kate as she walked over to the Captain’s office.
