Braxton looked at the two with a serious look. “First one to tell me who hired you gets released”

The two men looked back and forth between each other and shouted in unison, both trying to get out of the situation: “Draco!”

The two men then looked at each other and grunted, disappointed that the other may be able to go home. “No we don’t know any more than that. Just goes by Draco.”

Braxton noted the name in his PaDD “Alright. Were you two supposed to meet him for payment?”

The two men stared at each other for a long time as they considered their options. Finally the second one spoke, “They were gonna give us the location once we sent the message that it was picked up. We weren’t able to do that so I am sure they have cut bait and run.”

The first one spoke up again, “So ya see there isn’t much more ya can squeeze from us. Best to just let us go on our way.”

Braxton kept making notes Braxton looking intently at the second one “have you met Draco before?”

The second man looked up at the ceiling, thoroughly frustrated with the situation he found himself in, and the help he was getting from his accomplice. “Ya dense… No we didn’t meet him. Ya never worked as a criminal much did ya?” He took a deep breath and sighed, “It ain’t like we were all sitting around the table drinking and decided to try and play the federation, yeah? Mord just chose ya and the rest of us had ta try and clean up the mess.”

“You do understand I’ve seized your ship. I’ve seized your assets. I blacklisted you two which Starfleet Intelligence might send out a representative to escort you to one of our most recognizable penal colonies. If I cut you loose, you’ll be Starfleet Intelligence’s problem now. IF I decide whether or not to release you.” Braxton stepped away to his desk in his office, and mulled over the information he had gotten. =^= Harris to Ops =^=
