Things were bustling with people in the Promenade. Traders, merchants, even the bars had many customers. Braxton walking along keeping a close eye on things along the perimeter of the Promenade. To Braxton it was nice seeing things get back to normal.

Harris, CoS

A slender women quickly made her way through the bustle in the Promenade, trying to catch up to her goal: Harris. She easily weaved through the crowds, slowly gaining on him as she also took in the interactions going on around her. Finally, close enough to catch his attention, Kate both nudged his arm and called out, “Lieutenant Harris!”

Brax turned around “ah Lieutenant Trent what can I do for you?”

Harris, CoS

Kate smiled at Harris and held out her hand to him. “Well, you already know who I am, but I don’t think we’ve been formally introduced,” she commented with a laugh. “I’m Lieutenant Trent, the new SOO. I was hoping to catch up to you as you made your rounds so you could point out anything interesting that we might want to keep an eye on.”

Pikelsimer stepped out of his shop’s interior and stood at the door, taking in the hustle and bustle of the Promenade. He watched all the people going too and fro, but made a mental note of the two officers speaking not too far away. Nodding at a few faces, he stepped back inside, out of sight.

Pikelsimer, Trader

The movement in the entrance to the shop briefly caught Kate’s eye, but before she could make anything of it, Harris began to respond…

Braxton shook the Lieutenant’s hand “I go around and ask for ship’s manifest. If they don’t have it on their person then they’ll be escorted back to their ship to retrieve it.”

Harris, CoS

Her handshake was firm and she nodded in response to the information he provided. Indicating the shop where she had spotted the movement, she questioned, “what’s that shop there? You’ll have to forgive me, I’m not quite up to speed on the various offerings of the base yet.”

Lt Trent, SOO

“I’ve not seen this shop before. Thanks for pointing it out.” Braxton walked up to the counter and knocked on the counter to announce his presence.

Kate gave Harris a curious look but didn’t say anything as she trailed after him up to the counter. Her eyes flicked around the shop as she waited to see what was going to develop from this encounter.
