Kate blew a noisy breath out of her nose as she tapped on the chime to the counselor’s office. With how short her stint on the Endeavour had been, she felt like she had just been through this process of psychological and medical testing and, frankly, sometimes it felt a little absurdly trivial with what Starfleet Intelligence had required of her. Oh well, she thought to herself. That’ll make this go by all the faster.

Lt Trent, SOO

“Come.” Came a deep melodious voice from within and as the doors whooshed open Trent would notice the empty desk and chairs immediately across from the open doorway. Looking to the left after entering, Trent would see the Counselor down in the recessed sitting area reached by walking down a few carpeted steps. The entire office was decorated in a beautiful compliment of fall colors. The carpet was rich and thick to walk upon. Chandel could be seen tending to the few plants in the middle of her sand table/garden that sat within the sitting area. A couch and couple of plush chairs surrounded it.

The walls were decorated with a variety of nature and space view pictures that complimented the color scheme.
Looking up, Chandel smiled at Trent. “Please, come in Lieutenant. Have a seat, can I get you a refreshment she asked as she studied the other woman. Her dark, ebony eyes penetrated deeply but with a warmth within to show they were not judging but accepting of who Trent was.
