Alston pushed himself back from the helm as the stations automatic docking controls took over of his small transport. He wasn’t doing a large run this time, just some medical supplies to a local outpost. But he was ahead of schedule, and he needed fuel. So it was the perfect chance to stop in at Magellan and stretch his legs.

As his transport came into the hard dock the ship shook as the magnetic locks took hold, forcing Alston to grab onto to the bulkhead. He was definitely going to have to get that looked at. Cycling the airlock, he carefully set the ship for his absence before stepping onto the Starbase and heading for the promenade.
