Brax had a PaDD ready for inspection. It was full of the logistics of the joint station drill that includes four teams of both Marines and Starfleet Officers. The scenario included; Intruders have severed comms from Ops and internal scans to mask their detection, four hostages, hostage escapes from captors through a jeffries tube, Ops is under the Intruder control. Brax also had recommendations of closing the Promenade early at 2200 hours and all colonists to be restricted to quarters until the drill is over. Brax buzzed in the office for entry.

Liana looked up from her work on her desk, “Enter,” she called, taking a sip of her coffee after.

~Aeliana Cabot~

Brax walled in and laid the PaDD on the desk. “Lieutenant went through all the logistics for a joint effort station-wide drill and I was hoping you’d take a look at it.”

Harris, Security

“Sure,” Aeliana extended her hand, assuming the Ensign had a PaDD with the details, “I haven’t yet had a chance to talk to the CO, but we’ll try and figure out a good time to run this.”

“I was thinking we shut down the promenade early at 2200 and have the drill at 2300-0200.”

Harris, Security

Bump for CoS

“Good, yes, that should work, I’ll submit the request into the CO today, we can adjust as necessary if need be,” Liana replied with a nod, “Anything else?”

~Liana Cabot~

“Duty roster schedule is also in on the next PaDD page.”

Harris, Security

“Ah good, that should help figure out where everyone will be during this exercise,” Liana replied, “I guess now we just need to make sure nobody’s going to get their nose out of joint if this thing goes live....well, nobody overly important who can fire either of us.”

Brax nodded “well minor scratches and scrapes would be expected. The invader force taking hostages would have to be a little bit rough in my opinion Sir.”

Harris, Security

“Right, anything else I should pass along when I present this?” Liana asked, “I’ll schedule an appointment with the CO for when she’s available, hopefully we can get this underway before long.”

Brax nodded “the drill will start in the northwest docking corridor. They will have an inside man in OPS. Max four hours time limit. To test the responsiveness of both the Marines and Security. Four teams of two of both departments engaging the intruders. If the intruders make it to OPS and back to the docking bay the drills over. Then both departments meet in the Armory for debrief.”

Ensign Harris, Security

“Alright, I’ll run this by the Marine Captain first, if they decline to participate, we might need to rework some of the plans,” Liana explained. “I’ll keep you informed, since this is your invention, not mine,” she smiled, “If that’s all, you’re dismissed for now, we’ll touch base once I’ve had a chance to meet with the Marine CO at the very least, if not with the CO or if she’s unavailable, the XO.”

Brax nodded and snapped to attention “Aye Sir.” He turned his heels around towards the door and exited the room.
