Diaz arrived with the container and per Alita’s instruction, put the coin into the container with the bag. Holding the sample container, the young ensign said, “Ma’am, I don’t feel so good…” The ensign put the container down and passed out.

Alita commed for medical to collect Diaz and ran a detailed scan of him and the containment unit while she waited. She surmised that the coin’s effect must be by proximity rather than contact, or proxy contact as, within the container, the coin would be held suspended in powerful magnetic fields not having any physical contact with the container itself.

The tricorder would indicate that Diaz’s body appeared normal. Two medics arrive shortly and took Diaz to sickbay.

IC: At that moment, an all call from the Wolverine informed the crew that shore leave was over and everyone needed to return to the ship.

The door opened to the office as the Captain was finishing the message. “Lt,” Celador said as they walked into the office. “Want me to come with to the bridge with Mado?” He asked in a serious tone.
