The origin began in an ensign’s crew quarters, and was following the most direct path to the shuttlebay.

“It began on the junior officers deck. I am isolating the exact room. Its moving toward the shuttle bay. Im cutting power to that section and routing toward a non essential system node. ” He said and took action without asking the CO or XO first because honestly there was not time to do that and he thought them both to ignorant to know what he was talking about anyway.

The power drop continued, and made it into the shuttlebay. The power was not significant to impact the ship, but enough if it was in a shuttle craft…
