“Ahhh, come on in and have a seat,” Sharise said, setting down the PADD.

Rising from her desk, she moved around and over to the chairs to join Shaidi. “I’d say make yourself comfortable, but it’s a very tiny office and I don’t have a lot of leeway with furniture. Half the time I think I should just do away with the chairs and we can sit on the floor,” she said with a chuckle.

“If on a slight mat, such as a standing yoga mat, sitting or laying on the floor could do some wonders for posture and stability in the back.” She remarked, smiling, as if she were agreeing to her amused remark, with a fact.

Ayla chuckled. “Would give a new meaning to therapeutic yoga.”

“How are you finding Sickbay so far?” Ayla asked as she settled into her chair, adopting a relaxed position with one leg crossed over the other.

Greve situated herself into the chair, crossing her legs at the ankles, as her hands found themselves to be casually clasped within her lap. “It is interesting, to say the least. I haven’t met much of the staff, but of those I have, each are undoubtedly unique.” Shaidi grinned at the thought.

“It’s a small ship and one that is staffed with particularly spirited crew, in one way or another. It makes both our jobs rather interesting, for sure.” Ayla paused to consider Shaidi for a moment. “How do you feel about being assigned to tactical ship with such a potentially dangerous mission profile?”

“Such a dangerous mission profile is risky, however, medical officers would not be here, unless intended to assist in any way possible.” Shaidi was not incredibly bothered by the prospect of a tactical ship with such hazardous missions, merely by the damage that would come of them. “It is concerning, of course, the possibility of mass-injury, as a result of these perilous missions. With that being said, at least their is backup, just in case something goes wrong.”

“What do you wish for yourself while you’re here?” Ayla asked. It was a pretty standard sort of question, but she was anything but a standard therapist. And she also wanted to get to know Shaidi better as well. They would, after all, be working together a great deal.

“No idea,” Shaidi admitted. “I don’t have a method of going anywhere with a specific goal set in mind, for myself, that is. Every opportunity is taken at face-value, to make of it what seems necessary, when the time comes.” Shaidi seemed rather lax, for a Doctor, but perhaps that was characteristic.
