Cel waited patiently in the transporter room. He had with him a basic set of spelunking gear in a large backpack. He had to do some research to make sure he had all the essentials, but he thought he had everything. He stood in the transporter room with a padd, looking at different locations on Risa that would be good for the two of them.

A few minutes later Alita arrived carrying similar gear.

“So, do you have any place in mind?” she asked.

• Alita

He grabbed his gear off the deck and hoisted it over his shoulder. “There is a cave on the surface that appears to be a great place for beginners. I thought we might try there.” He replied, he was starting to get excited about this. A chance to try something new, both as a potential hobby and to explore where this relationship with Alita might possible lead. It’s been a long time since he felt excited about anything. He tried not to let it show to much.

OOC: How’d you guys beam off the ship when we’re looking for our lost Captain ;) -Ray

Alita stepped onto the transporter pad and adjusted her gear.

“That sounds like as good an idea as any. Put in the coordinates and lets get to it.” she said smiling at Cel.

They had grown strangely close and she was glad to be sharing some time with him off the ship. Perhaps a change of scenery would help things make more sense.

OCC: I think is this before what he is going through.

OOC: ???

IC: “Will do” He returned the smile and nodded to the Transporter Chief. He then gestured to the transporter padd and stepped onto it.

Once Alita was on the padd he looked at the Chief. “Energize.”

OOC: Set the caving scene on Risa?

A veil of darkness cloaks the natural beauty of Risian cave. High top a cliffside, at the edge of the coastline, they could see years of natural erosion caused by the Risa’s oceans, chipped away by the relentless pounding of waves. This was one of many caverns to explore on Risa, but this one was the most excluded and offered the deepest caverns on Risa to go splunking in. A drop of a single rock to try to find the bottom would take a couple minutes before they would hear a splash of water – water taken by the sea, which fell to the bottom of the cavern floor.

After they materialized, Alita took a few seconds just to look around. It had been quite a while since she had seen such a beautiful sight.

“Wow. What a place you’ve chosen Cel.” she said softly.

“I’ve only read about this place, the descriptions don’t do it justice.” He replied in awe as he stepped around the ledge to look down the cavern. He looked up at Alita.

“You didn’t happen to bring a camera did you? This area looks awesome for photos.”

Alita nodded and smiled digging in her pack for a bit.

“I don’t think I would go anywhere without some type of visual recording device. My family loves to document things. Some of us are quite artistic but not me. I just take pictures.” she explained pulling out the minuscule drone she had tucked away for just such an occasion.

“So lets start with a shot of me and you. I can program the rest when we’re done.” Alita suggested.
