Mado entered the turbolift. Computer, Deck 5. The computer complied.

After a moment the door swished open and Mado stepped it out. There wasn’t much on this deck. There were some department head quarters and just below him were the XO and CO’s quarters. Directly ahead was the lower level of engineering, a machine shop of sorts.

From a glance it appeared empty, most of the staff were probably down on Risa by now. Just the same he couldn’t be sure. Standing close to the hallway wall he pulled out his tricorder and shielded it with the side of his body. The signal was either on this floor or the next. He refocused his tricorder in an attempt to see just where it was coming from.

Coming down to a level like like this without thinking of a reason could pose a risk, but then again he had done nothing but wander around unannounced since his arrival.

Lt. Mado (FSA Agent)

OOC: Apologies to the GM and CO, work slowed down my posting, but hoping to be more active now.

The signal was coming from the Captain’s quarters. Mado remembered the ring he was given, which if he slipped on, would render him invisible, but it came with a warning that prolong use exceeding 15 minutes would be a serious determent to his health.

“Of course it would be in his quarters.” He considered slinking back into the turbolift, but a better idea came to mind. If he was going to break into the captain’s quarters, he didn’t need a record of himself down on Deck 6. He took a step closer to machine shop as he pretended to be engrossed in his PaDD. Sure enough it was empty. Looking inside, he attempted to spot an open entryway into the Jeffries tubes. He could see one towards the rear of the shop.

15 minutes to head down a level and access the captain’s quarters. With the XO still on the bridge, deck 6 ought to be equally abandoned. Stepping back towards the turbolift he slid his gloved hand into his coat pocket. He fumbled around for his ring until it slid onto his index finger.

If there were any cameras on the corridor it would have looked as though he disappeared. Now unseen he moved quickly back down the corridor and into the tube. Once inside, he removed the ring. He would need the full 15 minutes once he made his way out onto Deck 6. Unlike the deck above, six had no connection to engineering. The tube exit on this level, from what he could tell, seemed to lead out into an open corridor. He attempted to peer out and confirm it was safe to move before pulling open the entire hatchway.

LT. Mado (FSA)

The coast was clear, and Mado made it successfully into the Captain’s Quarters undetected. The special tricorder would show that the object in question was a sword.

As Mado scanned for the item in question, he found the Captain’s old rapier belonging to Henri D’Aramis. Mado put on a pair of purple gloves. Pulling out a small coin purse that was shaped like a carpet bag from his pocket, Mado placed the item on the floor which enlarged into a large carpet bag. Reaching into the carpet bag, he produced an old styled camera, a Polaroid camera, for anyone who knew what it was. He snapped the picture of the rapier, which the Polaroid immediately printed, but had printed to the exact same size as the original rapier. He put the camera back into the bag and reached out for a spray can. Covering his mouth with a purple mask, he used the spray can on the photograph, which then became a real object. He grabbed the real rapier and shoved it in a long silver bag, which caused the rapier to crackle and fizz. He shoved the silver bag with the rapier into the carpet bag.

Running the tricorder over the revolver owned by Wyatt Earp showed it was fake, and that was long replaced by the same undercover group Mado was working for. The properties of the fake revolver showed no signs of the special signature the special tricorder was designed to detect. Scanning the other relics in the Captain’s quarters also yielded nothing of importance.

Mado closed the carpet bag and pushed a button on the carpet bag which made it shrunk back to pocket size. He put the item away, as well as the mask and gloves. Activating a button on his sleeve, he past through the wall and into the Jefferies Tube undetected.

One by one, Mado replaced items in various crew’s quarters. He left alone the Fisher set in Petrov’s quarters, the chess pieces and the chess board showed no signature that he was looking for.

Once he was done, Mado beamed down to Risa.
