Mado entered the turbolift. Computer, Deck 5. The computer complied.

After a moment the door swished open and Mado stepped it out. There wasn’t much on this deck. There were some department head quarters and just below him were the XO and CO’s quarters. Directly ahead was the lower level of engineering, a machine shop of sorts.

From a glance it appeared empty, most of the staff were probably down on Risa by now. Just the same he couldn’t be sure. Standing close to the hallway wall he pulled out his tricorder and shielded it with the side of his body. The signal was either on this floor or the next. He refocused his tricorder in an attempt to see just where it was coming from.

Coming down to a level like like this without thinking of a reason could pose a risk, but then again he had done nothing but wander around unannounced since his arrival.

OOC: Apologies to the GM and CO, work slowed down my posting, but hoping to be more active now.

The signal was coming from the Captain’s quarters. Mado remembered the ring he was given, which if he slipped on, would render him invisible, but it came with a warning that prolong use exceeding 15 minutes would be a serious determent to his health.
