Before making his reservations on Risa, Remy pulled up Petrov’s itinerary for shore leave. He wanted to make sure the CE was going to be nowhere near where Remy was going to be. That would definitely ruin the shore leave experience.

After confirming Petrov’s reservation, Remy made his own at the El Dorado Hotel and Resort. That should be far enough away that the chances of running into Petrov were slim to none.

He sent out a message to all command staff and department heads that he was piloting a shuttle down to the surface and anyone that wanted to, should join him for the ride.

After confirming everything was in order, he threw his packed duffel bag over his shoulder and made his way to the shuttle bay. . . .

“Welcome Captain. Taking a shuttle down to Risa?” asked an NE who was cleaning the shuttle, “Do you need a pilot sir?”

“Oui, ensign. Dat would be nice. I could use a relaxing trip to de surface. An’ you? What are you’ plans while on Risa?”

The young Ensign blushed. “I have a Horga’hn, sir. And we’ll leave it at,” replied the Ensign. The ensign entered the shuttle, and began flight preparation sequences. “Is there anyone else joining us, sir?” asked the NE.

Remy smiled as the young man stated his plans. “What ‘appens on Risa, stays on Risa, eh, ensign? Don’ worry, you’ secret is safe wit’ me.”

He slipped into the co-pilots seat and settled in. “I sent out an offer for anyone dat wanted a ride down, but it seems dey all wanted to get de leave started as soon as dey could, so. . . .looks like it’s you an’ I. Guess you can take off as soon as you are cleared.”
