Ayla grinned at the merchant. “I never thought otherwise.” She reached down and produced a padd, being careful to make sure he could see what she was doing, lest he though she might shoot him or something. “Here’s a list of things we can trade. I’m sure we can come to a good trade that makes both of us happy.”

=^=Boudreaux to Erin.=^=

We ‘ave developed an issue wit’ de “airlock”. You have 15 minutes to get back to de ship. No more!=^=

Boudreaux (CO)

“Oh noo.....” Bryson whispered to himself as he watched the conversation unfold between the CNS and the merchant.

=^=Captain, we’re actually getting somewhere with one of the merchants, but I think we can quicken the pace.=^=

The Commander was hoping the Counselor would sense a change in his mood. If only she could read thoughts…

Erin (XO)

Sharise indeed felt the shift in mood but made no outward sign that might make the merchant jumpy. Instead she noted to move things along as quickly as possible and check in with Erin asap.

“Hmm… none of these items on your list seem to be possible to move off your ship in 15 minutes… and they are troublesome on a place like this. Either you can trade me information I can use or agree to meet me off the station in an neutral world location,” said the merchant.

GM

Commander Erin inched forward a bit, but kept his calm composure. Bryson continued to listen in on the conversation, while appearing to look at the items on a nearby table. He was actually intrigued at what he saw, but knew he couldn’t actually buy anything since it could change the timeline.

Erin (XO)

Well, the time limit seemed to be something they were already under but it seemed she’d have to make a decision quick. She had no information for him that wouldn’t be dangerous to hand over, so that was out. Their options were limited. “Tell me where and who to ask for. I’m sure we can work something out.” She looked over her shoulder. “Yo, Erin,” she called over discreetly. “Do we have have time for a stop.” She looked back at the merchant. “Though I suppose it depends on what sort of information you’re looking for.”

OOC: I’m still on LOA and travelling, so please use Ayla to advance the story as you need to. I don’t want to hold it up.
