“Let’s get him on a biobed,” Shaidi ordered, gesturing to the open biobed one of the medics had prepared before their arrival. “I want a full panel of tests! Check for the virus, bacterial infection, anything that may have caused him this! Someone prepare for a blood sample, just in case!”When settled onto the biobed, a nurse approached the Captain with a tricorder. He ran a quick scan over his body, searching for any indication of the virus in his system. Meanwhile, another nurse was checking his vitals to determine his stability in his current state. If anything was slightly elevated or lowered, she wanted to know.
Dr. Shaidi..and a myriad of others.
From the diagnostics, it seemed the Captain had a bad case of exhaustion which lead to a lower immune response and allowed a bacterial infection occur in his stomach.

Remy stirred and a hoarse groan escaped from his throat. His eyes fluttered open and he glanced down at his hands. “Jus’ ‘ad de strangest dream dat I was knittine. . . .”
Awareness finally told him he no longer in the ready room but lying on a biobed in sickbay. He grabbed the sleeve of the nearest person to him and tried to pull himself up. “Ow did I get to Sickbay? Wha’s goine on?”

“Not sure Captain,” said the medical NE, “Initial reports said you doubled over in pain from your stomach.”
It was that moment, Boudreaux released a large burp and a large fart at the same time.
The medical NE ran another scan on the Captain. “Hmm… nothing seems to be wrong with you. Might be just excess gas in your body.” The medical NE administered something, “This should settle your stomach sir. You are cleared for duty.”
