Instead of his usual questioning or complaining Petrov just went to the Engineering station and ran the check and waited.

Petrov CE

All systems showed green.

“Commander Erin, maybe Dr. Shaidi’s team should inspect the crew to find out if there are any abnormalities from the experimental drive,” suggested Wells, “But if we do intend to enter the Underspace anomaly, it might not be long before we are detected. I have no clues how to counter act the effects of such a detection.”

GM

“Everything is operational. Engineering panel is green.” Petrov reported.

Alita would check on Remy later. For now, she simply when back to her station and tried to keep her thoughts calm wondering if she could still sense others the way she had before.

Any previous transporter related accident abilities she once had, were no longer present. She was back to normal before the accident.

“Right.” Commander Erin said responding to Wells’s statement. =^=Sickbay, anyway we can run a few tests on us to see how this drive is affecting our body?=^= The XO called out. As much as he wanted to continue on with their mission, Bryson had to remember to put the crew first. “Are we able to disguise ourselves as space debris or a meteor until these tests are complete?”

Erin (XO)

“Yes, Commander. The holographic projection system is still functioning within normal parameters,” said Wells.

“Alright, lets disguise ourselves as a meteor while we focus on getting the crew checked out.” Commander Erin responded. “I suggest we do this quickly.” Bryson’s plan was to travel into the underspace which would take them closer to their destination.

Erin (XO)

“Aye sir. Holographic projection systems are active. I have set the false sensor readings so that any vessel detecting us should see us as a worthless meteorite with no particular traces of elements worth investigating,” said Wells.

“We should be warry of Turei pulse weapons and Vaarwaur lurking. More importantly those corridors are strewn with asteroid and other debris. I think science will need to be on top of that.” Mikel offered as he did not want to survive this just to be smashed to bits.

Petrov CE

“Correct me if I’m wrong, but the Turei pulse weapons we are aware of were from information of the 24th century, I believe,” remarked Wells, “Given we are in the past, it might be safe to assume the Turei do not possess the same technology level or knowledge to the Vaarwaur currently.”

“You know what they say about ASSUMING anything Commander Well’s.” He answered. He wondered if she even knew that one.

Petrov CE

“We know from the Vaadwaur tell us, their enemies only defeated them after combining their forces, and that at the time, they were technologically superior,” said Wells, “But you are correct that we should not make that assumption. However, it would be reminiscent of me not to point out that observation.”

Petrov just smirked but did not reply.

Mikel wanted the mission over and Well’s gone. Apparently traversing time had given her a keen political and tactical sense. He did not want her around challenging his own plans. He was sure this time he was going to apply for another ship. He had built quite the resume on the Wolverine and it should be enough to get him to a better posting. Nothing would stop him short of that bumbling Captain promoting him.

Hours past, and the looming threat of attack still hovered in the tension on the ship. The medical staff completed their report. Other than the Captain, there was no problems with the crew. And the Captain was just cleared for duty.
