The II-drive activated, and the crew morphed into clay, then felt like they disappeared from the universe for a split second. The ship popped up 25 light years from their previous distance that was infinitely improbably chosen. When they reappeared, they materialized as yarn figures.

=/\= Normalcy will be restored in 1 minute. =/\=

After spending an uncomfortable minute as yarn figures, they popped back to normal.

The FSA officer stumbled as his flesh reformed. A puzzled look came across his face as he fought back a moment of nausea. Gripping down on his sword, he regained his composure and spoke quietly under his breath, “Well… that was… unexpected?”

Once the ensign got his bearings, he had a few questions to ask.

Lt. Mado (FSA)

The feeling of being yarn was not one that McGarvey wanted to ever relive. He hoped that this was an undocumented side effect because he would hate anyone replicating this experience, truly it, for him, was one of the worst expereinces of his life. He would have chosen torture by a Klingon over the sensation any day.

“I quite agree, I’d like to know why EDDIE decided to do that and under whose authorization.” One would hardly notice that the experience bothered Wraith, however, it had and that was something that perhaps at a different time he should speak to someone about. I don’t get bothered by things he thought to himself, at least not anymore.

“Had you heard of any tests that they were going to be running today?” He asked Mado.

The agent smiled, “No one informs me of anything Mr. McGarvey. But tell me who is EDDIE and what is this experimental drive… I don’t believe it is mentioned in any of the current mission logs?” As he spoke, Mado removed a glove and appeared to be inspecting his hand. As he looked it over he made a fist once or twice as if he was trying to see if it still functioned properly.

As he listened to McGarvey’s response, the agent wondered if it was time to make another unannounced trip to the bridge.

“Perhaps it would be best for EDDIE, himself, to explain everything.”

=/\= EDDIE could you please, answer the Lieutenant’s queries as to who you are and what the experimental drive is? Also, what is going on?=/\=
His voice never wavered as he asked his questions.
