“Let’s get him on a biobed,” Shaidi ordered, gesturing to the open biobed one of the medics had prepared before their arrival. “I want a full panel of tests! Check for the virus, bacterial infection, anything that may have caused him this! Someone prepare for a blood sample, just in case!”

When settled onto the biobed, a nurse approached the Captain with a tricorder. He ran a quick scan over his body, searching for any indication of the virus in his system. Meanwhile, another nurse was checking his vitals to determine his stability in his current state. If anything was slightly elevated or lowered, she wanted to know.

From the diagnostics, it seemed the Captain had a bad case of exhaustion which lead to a lower immune response and allowed a bacterial infection occur in his stomach.
