Ahearn arrived on the Bridge and realized he was here before anyone else. Moving to the Science console, he began reviewing the data from the Baryon sweep and the samples he had sent for analysis while he waited for the Skipper and the rest of the Senior staff.

Ahearn, CSO

Commander Erin left the Cargo Bay while the CO and Commander Wells were finishing their discussion, and made a simple detour to the Captain’s Ready Room. He knew that the Captain was yet to arrive, so the XO went over to the Operations station for a quick update on the ship’s status.

XO

About that time Mikel stormed onto the Bridge. He saw the XO and slowed his step. He wanted the Captain not this second rate want to be CO. So he ambled to his station and waited.

Petrov CE

Alita had walked onto the bridge behind Commander Erin just in time to see Petrov change his stride. She wasn’t in the mood to deal with him and made her way straight to the ready room not caring if she was the first one there.

From the corner of his eye, Ahearn saw the unspoken exchange and tense body language. He could almost feel the tension. Shaking his head slightly, he thought “Great. More drama. I swear this ship is worse than a Klingon - Vulcan wedding.”

Ahearn, CSO

Petrov made a quick move to cut her off at the door.

“I´m afraid I need to speak to the Captain. His ears only.” He told the COS. She did not outrank him so this would be a standoff at best.

Petrov CE

Alita looked up at Petrov. It didn’t matter who’s body she was in, she’d had enough of him.

“Good, then we can walk in together you are still senior staff correct?” she asked while moving towards the door.

If Petrov wanted to get physical with a child, she would make sure he lived to regret it.

Celador, who had walked onto the bridge not far behind Alita, watched the her and Petrov’s interaction. A part of him wanted to get between them

‘Why’ Squared asked, forcing the issue, causing Celador to hesitate. ‘She is a big girl, she can handle her self. Besides, this would be a good opportunity to observe their behavoir. Might help us in the future.

‘That’s my body she’s in.’ Celador fired back at Squared.

‘No it’s not, get a hold of yourself. That is no more your body then this is her’s. Observe and take notes.’

Celador nodded to himself, understanding what Squared was referring too. He moved over to an area of the bridge to get a better view of the interaction.

Remy stepped onto the bridge and immediately felt the tension emanating from practically everyone, but specifically from Claire and Petrov. Playing the nehotiator, he moved to and stopped in front of the ready room door.

“This mis-SHON has us all on edge. De issue wit’ de virus ‘as been dealt wit’. Next tine is gettine Lt. Claire an’ Ens. Thienna back to dere normal selves. We will soon be implementing a plan to tackle dis issue as well. I suggest you take any pent up aggres-SHON and frustra-SHON an’ focus it on doine you’ jobs to de best of you’ abilities. Now, let s get dis meetine underway.”

Without another word and ignoring any protests, remy led the way into the ready room.

Boudreaux (CO)

Cel swept the bridge with his eyes, saying nothing, but observing everyone’s reaction. He then followed the Captain into the ready room.

Petrov knew this was the COS in another body and he wanted to bully his way past her but the fact she was in a childs body he hesitated. He even put his hand forward to indicate that she could go in front of him. He would bide his time and let this fool of a Captain not have a reason to side with her.

Petrov CE

Alita had a very strong sense that nothing had been settled and it wouldn’t be for a long time. Nodding, she stepped forward and went ahead of Petrov anyway.

Remy sat down in his big, comfy chair and waited for the other officers to file in. He kept an eye on Petrov as the engineer entered. Why did the CE have to be such an annoyance to everyone else. He seriously decided Petrov wasn’t happy unlees he was making someone else miserable. If it wasn’t Alita, it was wells. If not Wells, then someone else and so on. . . the Captain would have sent him packing if he wasn’t such a genius when it cam to the ship’s engines, then again, the only time Petrov would purposely coax that extra erg of energy from the engines is when it would benefit him, his own survival, or make someone else look bad.

Remy knew Petrov wouldn’t leave the Ready Room until after he had made his complaints known, but for now they’d have to wait. The most important thing right now was to get Alita and Cel back to themselves, if the II drive would do the trick. . . .

Boudreaux (CO)

“It’s been a long few days, Captain.” Commander Erin announced after he allowed the other officers to enter before him. He hadn’t paid much attention to the child COS, but had enough professionalism to remember that she still has the skills and knowledge from before the accidental conversion.

“We could all use some good news.” Bryson added.

XO

Petrov remained silent for now. It was sometimes the best tactic. Let others speak and find the right angle to either make yourself look good or them bad.

Petrov CE

A report from Sickbay was delivered to the Captain’s station at that moment, summarizing the outbreak and its containment. It would show that the viral bacterial infection was no longer present on the ship and all crew members have been cleared, including Commander Wells, who apparently didn’t get the illness but was given a vaccine for it that had been recently developed from the cured crew members.

Alita had quietly taken a seat anxious to hear any news aobut her and Cel’s condition. Everything and everyone else could be dealt with later.

Celador followed behind Alita and took a standing spot near the wall. He was shorter then everyone else here and that made him look like he was shorter then everyone else. He wasn’t fully sure what he was doing here, although he could guess.

Ahearn took a seat and set a PaDD down in front of him with the latest air and surface sample readings, done to ensure no trace of the virus was left aboard the ship.

Ahearn’s readings confirmed the report from Sickbay.

Petrov saw that Ahearn was looking over some reports and it seemed the Captain had received something as well.

“How is the crew Captain? Is anyone still infected?” He asked out loud tryin to mimic concern for everyones welfare. He was more worried about his own. “Cmd Well’s is not here. Is she ok?” He asked as an addition.

Petrov CE

Remy smirked at Petrov. He knew the engineer’s concerns were more for himself than any other single member of the crew. “Everybody in de crew checks out. De virus has been eradicated, tanks to Lt. Ahearn and dose dat assisted him.”

“On to de next issue. Dat of Lt. Claire and Ens. Thienna. At dis point, dere is still no’ even a hypothesis as to what ‘appened to cause dis change, and’ we are no closer to an effective way to change dem back, but. . . . ” he looked around the room his eyes falling mainly on Cel and Alita.

“ ‘aving discussed de situa-SHON wit’ Cmdr. Wells, we may ‘ave come up wit’ a possible solu-SHON. Up until now, dis ‘as been a need to know basis. Dat need to know was myseld, Cmdr. Erin, and Lt. Petrov.”

“Cmdr Wells is aboard for dis mis-SHON to test out an experimental drive technology. After discussing Thienna and Claire’s situa-SHON wit’ ‘er, we feel de best op-SHON in gettine dem back to normal is implementine this drive technology. Dere is no guarantee it will work, but we ‘ave few other op=SHONS at dis point. I am willine to give it a try. Cndr wells is currently preparine de drive and will let me know when she is ready.”
