Alita made her way to the cargo bay to help with preparations for the sweep.

Slowly, cured crew members started filling in the cargo bay. Engineering and science members began setting up the field diverters. Sickbay had cured crew members wear a biofilter mask to prevent re-infection.

Ahearn arrived and began running calibration checks on all diverters and ensuring that all fields were placed correctly. Looking at one of the Security officers, he said “Make sure we get everyone in here. No stragglers.”

“All diverters have been calibrated and are ready. Diverters in sections required to protect critical systems have been vented of atmosphere,” said a Science NE, “We’ll need to reroute Bridge and Engineering control to these consoles.”

Ahearn nodded once and tapped his communicator. =/\= Ahearn to Captain. Sir, we are ready for the baryon sweep. All Bridge and Engineering controls should be transferred at this time. =/\=

A moment later, the captain’s voice blasted from the ship-wide speaker.

=^=Atten-SHON, all personnel. You are ordered to report to de cargo bay immediately as a baryon sweep will be takine place to rid de ship of de virus. No excep-SHONS. ALL PERSONNEL!!=^=

Greve ushered more of the crew into the cargo bay, shoving masks into cured members’ hands despite the dirty glares she received on their behalf. Huffing, she made her way about the cargo bay for one last check. Most of her wanted everyone to be safe, the other part didn’t want her sickbay crowded with people they could have easily prevented illness in.

“Doctor, all the personnel here have been cleared. Those who haven’t, are still being monitored in another cargo bay, and have their fevers induced,” said a Medical NE. “We’ve sealed the other cargo bay with personnel not yet cleared.”

“Good.” She buried the remaining masks in the pocket of her coat, turning to the medical NE. “How many personnel have yet to be cleared?”

A Science NE reported to Ahearn. “All crew accounted for. Baryon sweep is ready to activate on your command, sir.”

Ahearn nodded and ran a final scan of the ship for any life signs not confined in the safe spaces. Seeing none, he tapped his communicator. =/\= All hands, this is the Chief Science Officer. Baryon sweep commencing in thirty seconds. Noone leaves the cargo bays until the all clear is sounded. =/\=

Remy had made his way to the cargo bay with Erin, Mado and the rest of the current Bridge crew. He made his way over to Ahearn just before he started. “We ‘ave Bridge control transferred down ‘ere, Mr. A’earn. Still, I an no’ to keen on leavine the Bridge completely empty. “Ow long should de sweep take?”

“At least we’re not in a Mythology Class, Captain.” Bryson said as he stepped up to the pair. The Commander had wished Starfleet had gone ahead with their plan to create an emergency command hologram. Bryson had overheard the plan when he was on temporary assignment with Starbase Mallegan a few years back. This situation would have warranted the use of one.

Alita was glad to see everybody entering the cargo bay but decided to stay back in the crowd.

Once in the cargo bay, Mado distanced himself slightly from the bridge crew as he looked for an area of the cargo bay with a little more space.
