Not being a telepath other than with other telepaths, Ayla had no context for what just happened. What was that, K’Mar? she sent to him while she and the others on her team were taking stock of their options. : : : : : : : : : : : : : : Lt. Sharise, CNS : : : : : : : : : : Walking into the opposite direction than the others with Celador, K’Mar repeated to him what he had gleaned from the minds of the people around them. At the same time he was looking for some kind of terminal they could access for imformation unobstrusively. : : : : : : : : : : “Seems like they’re very afraid of somebody here.” he said silently to Celador. : : : : : : : : : : - K’Mar, CIO : : : : : : : : Celador nodded, “Not a good way to do business.” He replied quietly, looking around. “I would guess that would make them weary of outsiders. Still, it might be useful to strike up a conversation with them. Are we selling or buying?” He asked as they walked. He started looking at the various people, deciding who would be best to approach on business. : : : : : : : : -Cel : : : : : : “Lets go find a bar or something similar. Someplace where we can strike up a conversation innocently.” He suggested quietly, looking around for such an establishment, or a map to the station. He was uncomfortable around K’Mar. He tried to hide it, but was unsure how successful he was. This skill he had, the one to hide his secret, had been unused for nearly 20 years. It had atrophied. He had recently had some practice using it around Sharise, but he could tell that she suspected. It’s going to take him a while to get the skill back up to where it was prior to his incarceration. Hopefully he got it back up to full strength before his secret was reveled. If it was, it would be very unfortunate. : : : : : : -Cel : : : : They found a restaurant, but there was no bar in particular. Seems like if someone wanted to get drunk here they’d end up dead. The restaurant had many patrons but the noise level was quiet and the air was tense, much like the rest of the station. Seemed to be the general theme of the station: security conscious, highly alert persons, and high tensions. : : : : GM : : Celador approached the restaurant and looked around curiously. He signaled a waiter for a table then turned to K’Mar whispering. : : “I suggest that we pass off as representitives of a trading group looking for new territories to expand into.” : : -Cel While they waited for a table he approached another waiting patron. “Excuse me, we are new to this station, how is the place, anything good to eat?” He asked casually. -CelThe bartender and waiter looked at Cel. “We don’t serve anything but rations and drinks. Not since the cook was killed in the last station raid 3 years ago,” said the waiter.
Alita went to the table Cel had secured but placed herself in a position to keep an eye on him and the door. Given the general feeling of the station she felt such an action would not be inappropriate. She wasn’t really hungry or thirsty but would look at a menu if one was present.

“I thought I asked you to stay on the ship” Celador said with a half wink, letting her know that he was just playing the part of a trader.

Most of the drinks listed on the wall were of a non-alcoholic nature. A lot of alien fruit and vegetable drinks, most of unknown to them. Only one or two they seemed like something the Voyager crew brought back.
GM
Alita simply shook her head and scowled at Cel, she could play too.
“Well, I know. But you know listening isn’t my strong suit. I needed a walk and a meal but, if there’s no cook here…” she sighed and rolled her eyes.
Alita, MO/COS
“Maybe you can cook for them, you are a great cook” He said with a smile, nudging her with an elbow. He turned look at the menu.
“What are these drinks?” He asked, pointing to the drinks that looked familiar.
-Cel
“They are fruit drinks. Some of them blended up, some of them juiced. Half of the drinks can satisfy you like a meal… And the machine to use is simple… Doesn’t require much skill to make something,” said the waiter.
GM
Alita knew what Cel was aiming for. She thought it would be a good idea but, before she spoke, she cruised the menu a bit hoping to find something close to coffee.
“Well simple machines are my forte. Look, I don’t know how long we’re going to be here but why not? It beats staying on the ship.” she said glancing at Cel.
“So which way to the kitchen?” Alita asked as she stood.
Alita, MO/COS
Celador looked up and watched, curious how the bartender would react.
‘good’ Squared thought, ‘These fruit drinks appear to be from your federation. As I understand, we traveled back in time before this Voyager was ever in this area.’
‘I know, something doesn’t add up.’ Celador thoughtfully responded.
“I’ll would like this one,” Celador said, pointing to one of the familiar fruit drinks. “So, what happened to the last cook?” He asked curiously.
