“Dis Adm. Frederic, she is a dangerous person? Or is it when she is involved in sometine, de amount of dangerous is amplified?”

Boudreaux (CO)

“I wouldn’t necessarily classify her as dangerous, Captain, but certainly dedicated to the Warehouse’s mission, which I assume after all this time, she hasn’t changed her position from that dedication,” said Wells, “Sufficient to say, being involved with Warehouse matters does put you in somewhat in the vicinity of danger. Either directly or indirectly.”

GM

Remy finally corked the bottle of bourbon and replaced it in his desk drawer. “I will keep dis informa-SHON in mind, commander, but you are correct. It was Jsneway dat sent us on dis mis-SHON, an’ I plan on achievine ‘er goals whether Adm. Frederic ‘as an ulterior motive or no’t. We are goine to get what we came for.”

Boudreaux (CO)

“Captain, Admiral Frederic has an unusual gift of being … How do I put it… Tuned into the universe. I would advise the crew if they happen to find any unusual old relics of the past to bring it up to your personal attention, and notify me immediately,” replied Wells.

GM

That comment caused Remy to pause. He had in his quarters a number of ancient items. Items he had stolen over the years that he decided to keep to himself rather than turn over to someone that wouldn’t appreciate the significance of said item from a historical perspective. A Honus Wagner baseball card, a leather jacket worn by a character from a late 20th century television show, a sword that belonged to one of the Three Musketeers, to name just a few, as well as. . . .the 14th century necklace he had recently given to Ayla. . .

“An’ you can tell if dese ‘arifacts’ are indeed special?”

Boudreaux (CO)

“I have the neutralizing agent formula memorized and if necessary, have the means of modifying a tricorder to detect these unusual properties,” said Wells.

GM

Remy considered any other antiques might have on board that might cause a problem. The only item he could remember was the whiskey flask he had given to Ahearn for Christmas. A never ending flask of whiskey? That would most definitely keep the Orion-Irish Chief Science Officer happy and Remy could imagine playing hell with trying to get it away from him, even if it was a danger.

“If dere is a chance dere are any of dese ‘artifacts’ onboard, could dey ‘ave an effect on what happened to Lt. Claire and Ens. Thienna? And, could dey ‘ave an effect on de II drive?”

Boudreaux (CO)

“Each artifact has its own unique properties and effects. I wouldn’t be able to tell you unless I encountered one. As for the II drive, well, infinite improbability is part of the equation so… that’s also an unknown factor. Though, given how the drive behaves, unlikely,” said Wells, “The II drive is practically an artifact by its own right.”

GM

“I’m puttine a lot of fait’ in you, Commander, in you’ knowledge of time, an’ de II drive. After dis is all over, I have some items I ‘ave collected over time dat I would like you to take a look at, an’ let me know if I should get rid of dem, no?”

Boudreaux (CO)

“Well, I can certainly neutralize them, but as for getting rid of them… that’s not easy… and nor do I have the equipment to do so. More likely we’d have to contact Admiral Frederic after the mission is complete, Captain,” said Wells.

GM

“I’m ‘oping dere is notine strange ‘bout dese items. Some of dem are wirt’ great value an’ it would be a shame to lose dem.”
