Valoru had managed to check in with the few Marines on board. The full fire team had not been trained and arrived yet - that would come after this mission. But he had a few Marines to deal with. And mixed with that could be some Starfleet personnel.

Deck 4 was where the Andorian had made his home most of the time, and he thought he’d be able to find the Chief of Security there as well.
