Ensign Saru was absent from his first post due to medical, once on the Wolverine Saru took his belongings to his quarters and then immediately headed to Chief Medical officer in order to report in for Duty.

Tealor sat working through his report pile when the door chime came, “Come” he said though the door, he leaned back to stretch and stood to great whoever it was .

Ensign Saru stood waiting for a response when he heard someone on the other side of the door say “Come” Ensign Saru entered the room expecting a well deserved lecture about being absent for such a long period. Ensign Saru entered the room stiff and with no emotions showing on his face he said “Dr Tessan, Ensign Saru reporting for duty” Ensign Saru stood at attention waiting for a response.

“Have a seat ensign,” he said. “Can I get you something to drink?” Tealor was nursing his favorite tea. It was luke warm but still tasted good. He shifted a few things off of his desk and pulled up the Ensigns file.

Ensign Saru looked at the chair he never understood the need to sit when reporting for duty, but it does seem to be standard in most ship’s, so Ensign Saru took a seat across from the Chief Medical Officer and replied “Not at this time, Sir” Ensign Saru didn’t see the need to assume a drink out of politeness considering Dr Tessan was a Betazoid and would know his true feelings towards something to drink at this time.

Tealor gave a small nod, refreshed his tea, and took his chair. “Welcome aboard Ensign, I trust that you have settled into your quarters. ” he asked, looking over a PaDD with the ensigns information, including his last psyc.

Ensign Saru replied “I have sir, they are more than adequate”
