After what felt like a marathon of evaluations, Mado still had one more officer to meet with, the Chief of Security. Looking over his personal PaDD, he could see her public file, a Ms. Alita Claire. Unfortunately, he did not have access to the wealth of data the FSA would have in just a hundred years from now, but he still had access to “present day files.” The file on Claire didn’t contain much, but it seemed that the COS was rather young for her post. It was of no consequence to him.

Sliding his Padd back into his satchel, he made his way to the security offices. Brushing a few strands of white hair away from his face and adjusting his FSA insignia, he chimed for an entry.

Lt. Mado (FSA)

It was just before Alita was going to break for a quick dinner when she heard the chime.

“Enter.” she called out, salmon would have to wait.

The door swished open and a middle-aged man in what appeared to be a Federation intelligence uniform walked in.

“Good evening. Are you Lieutenant Claire?”

Mado wasted no time introducing himself, “I am Andreas Mado. I am an officer of the Federation Security Agency, and I have been assigned to this vessel. I presume you were alerted to my arrival?”

The pale man kept his hands at his sides, one gripping a small satchel. As he awaited a reply, Mado’s face carried an eerie smile; It was the only kind he knew how to make.

Lt. Mado (FSA)

Alita’s green eyes took in the stranger. A smile might have been eerie but it didn’t bother her.

“Of course I was alerted to your arrival, and even if I hadn’t been officially, the ship is quite small. Please, take a seat. Federation Security Agency hmm? Forgive my ignorance, but are you some stunted branch of Internal Security?” Alita asked intentionally letting her youth show.
