Ensign McGarvey was just down the hall from the shuttle bay. He had already confirmed on his trip down that several enlisted were securing the water drums the Captain had ordered.

=^=Ensign McGarvey to Ensign Voq. Please, report to the shuttle bay as per the Captain’s request for you to join me in the shuttle should we have the oppurtunity to trade with the other ship, making sure the water maintains an uncontaminated state is a high priority for the current situation.=^= He stated calmly and awaited a reply.

As he entered the shuttlebay he saw the last of the containers being secured in the shuttle. He walked over to inspect but he would want the science officer to validate that everything was done in a proper method past this point.

He instead took a seat at the pilot’s controls and started making sure all systems were functioning properly. He wanted to be ready to go as soon as Voq could validate the water was contaminant free so the moment the Captain gave the word they could be on their way to the Trader.

OOC: Trinity is currently on LOA, so I’ll just fill in here a bit until she gets back.

IC: The doors to the shuttle bay opened and an ensign weering science blues approached. If McGarvey was expecting a female Trill scientist to join him, he’d be surprised to see the tall, lanky, human male approach with a PADD and tricorder in hand.

“Ah, McGarvey, right? I’m Ne Nye, the science guy. Auzria in finishing up an experiment in the lab. She said to tell you she’d be ready to go with you as soon as Capt. Beaudreaux gave the word. In the meantime, I’m here to check. . . . .what, exactly?”

Nye looked in the rear of the shuttle and saw the water barrels. He gave a long whistle. “That’s a lot of water. What’s it for?”
