In the last few days, Dee had noticed a difference in Sisnil. He seemed tired, maybe sleep deprived, and broodier than normal. He was moody and snappy, though never with her. He spent a lot of time on his PaDD, but then seemed to grow frustrated and needed to take a break.

Sisnil was very short tempered and angry. It upset her. She knew that was her problem and not his. She would have preferred to avoid him, but she’d promised. So she sat quietly with him. Mostly entertaining Simon, to make sure he didn’t bother Sisnil. She was good at being quiet and unnoticed.
