“We were no’ expectine you, so check in wit’ de quartermaster to assign a cabin for you, check in wit’ medical, an’ Counselor Sharise. After dat, you should be good to go for duty.”

“One more tine, Lt. I do expect loyalty from my crew. I am ‘opine dat will no’ cause a conflict wit’ you’ loyalty to Federa-SHON security?”

The agent gave nod, “Understood Captain… I don’t see any reason why there would be.” The slender man rose from his chair clutching his satchel. “It seems I have quite a few individuals to check in with.” As he headed towards the door he considered thanking the Captain for his hospitality. Pausing for a moment he almost did so, but held back, ‘better not ruffle too many feathers…yet.’ With that thought he departed to find the ship’s quartermaster.

Commander Wells entered. “So, I observed a new officer, one I don’t recognize, Captain, and given we’re in the past, I found it unusual, so I thought to ask how did this officer come aboard?” asked Wells.
