Lokhar snapped his fingers and the slaves seemed to vanish in an instant and a guard appeared at his shoulder.
“Toros, please take these two to the lounge they have a lot to catch up on. Make sure you guard them well, they are favoured.” Toros nodded. Toros was a big burly Orion male, stocky and muscular and shorter than Lokhar.
“Come.” He said in a deep voice to Kryssa and Dradvia.Dradvia hurried over to where she had left her jewels at Lokhar’s feet. It would be an unforgivable slight to leave the gifts he gave her on the floor. She knelt and quickly donned the various pieces of finery. Then she stood and hurried back to follow Toros as ordered.
“Yes dear sister, come along.” She glared, turned to look at Lokhar and smiled her eyes sparkling. Lokhar winked.

This woman, whoever she was, was going to kill her. Or come close to it. She didn’t miss the shared look and Lokhar’s wink. More punishment was coming. She was in much more danger than she’d thought. And she’d thought a lot. She might die from it. But she would never beg this thing to forgive her. It wasn’t Kryssa. Even if she was somehow the same body that had been ejected into space, this wasn’t her Kryssa.
She made sure to walk beside Kryssa, or let her go first, out of respect for her position. Even if Kryssa insisted she go first, she made sure not to turn her back to her, but remain facing her, and respectful. She couldn’t be accused of slighting Lokhar’s favorite. She gave no reason to have Toros report misbehavior or punish her himself. He was new, or at least she didn’t remember him.
Kryssa fumed inwardly as they walked, Lokhar had promised her revenge. She didn’t know this, but Lokhar had been lying to her. It was part of a sick game of his. Pitting his favourites against themselves. It kept them from bonding and rising up against him. Master promised revenge. That thought went round her mind constantly during the walk to the lounge. Lokhar had told her that Dradvia had killed her out of jealousy of her favoured position. There had been memory suppression too, another of Lokhar’s mind games. Kryssa barely acknowledged Dradvia as they walked to the lounge, the fact that he hadn’t let her beat Dradvia senseless had been particularly disappointing.
When they were in the lounge Dradvia moved across the room to her designated spot. She watched Kryssa taking in the jewels and attire. “You have greatly pleased our Master to be so favored.” She bowed slightly, “Respect to you, Kryssa Favored of Master Lokhar.” Toros would stay in the room to guard them, but Dradvia was under no delusions that she was safe.

Kryssa nodded and noted the jewels that Dradvia wore.
“I have, I have pledged my life to him. I live to serve.” She replied taking a seat at the table. She motioned for Dradvia to sit too. She tried to force herself to be cordial, there was a battle going on in her mind between her hatred of the woman infront of her and wanting to please Lokhar.Dradvia was fascinated by how similar, but how different the woman’s expressions were. The seething hatred made it quite easy to remember this was not Kryssa, despite the physical appearance. It occurred to her suddenly that Romulus did not warn her about this. She would have to be careful not to trust him. She hated that, he had been kind to her, protected her when he could, but she would have to rely only on herself if she wanted to survive. Did she want to survive?
“Master has been good to me these past years. Sit.” She spoke the last as command.
Dradvia bowed slightly. “I thank you for the courtesy, but I must not without Master’s permission. I have many years to atone for. I strive to not disappoint him.”
“I can see you have pleased him greatly already, it has only been.... a day? Since your triumphant return?” She asked, picking at the fruit basket on the table. Toros stood near them watching with folded arms.

Dradvia had not been able to eat the food Romulus brought to her, and the beating had been brutal. Her body needed food, but she would not eat without permission. She was more concerned with keeping Lokhar appeased than anything else. “Yes, Master has been generous to me.” She gently fingered the necklace she wore. “It is his triumph not mine. My return is an unexpected gift. I was told Master was dead by the Star Fleet officers who stole me. I did not know how to contact the Syndicate to return.”
“I always thought someone would come for me, find me, and bring me back. Master said that was what would happen. I thought I had been forgotten.” The truth of her words rang true in the room.

Bump
Kryssa nearly rolled her eyes. This was going to be terribly.... dull. Dradvia seemed completely broken already. Kryssa noticed that Dradvia hadn’t touched the fruit. She leant back and picked at a bunch of grapes.
It was eerie how her mannerisms were the same, Dradvia knew she was bored and annoyed, but it was also wrong.
“You are never forgotten. Once you’re his, you’re his for life.” She replied and ate a grape. She doubted that Dradvia actually wanted to return to Lokhar but she wasn’t about to challenge her on that..... Not yet. Instead, she decided to go down a different path.
“No, Master would never forget me. But I was told he was dead. But I have returned to him and his hold. Back to where I should never have been stolen from,” There was no flicker of doubt or lie in her. Dradvia was back with her master.
“You know Master would be most displeased if you didn’t eat anything, you wouldn’t want to make him upset. Would you?” She asked sweetly holding the fruit basket out to Dradvia.

Dradvia nodded, “Yes, but I have much to atone for. I would rather Master be upset because I awaited his permission, than disgrace and disappoint him by acting out of turn.” The words for Kryssa but also Torro so he could report back to Lokhar.
“Master said much has changed since my theft,” Dradvia left the statement open as she looked around the room, seeing if she could note any changes.

For the most part the room was the same as it had always been, mostly bear. This was the slave’s canteen, not much thought had been gone into the décor. There were some chains on the far end of the room… That was different. They were about halfway up the wall, high enough that anyone chained up would just be able to touch the floor with the tip of their big toe. Kryssa noted Dradvia looking at the chains and smiled.
“That’s a recent addition. Master takes punishment very seriously nowadays. Since you ran away he wants to make sure it’ll never happen again.” She ate another grape and looked at Dradvia predatorially.GM Budgie
The chains didn’t surprise Dradvia at all. It was another fear tactic. Fear and humiliation. Things Lokhar was very good at using. She didn’t miss the look on fake-Kryssa’s face. It was that look that made it so easy to know, this wasn’t her Kryssa. That look also told her she was looking for a way to make sure she was beaten further. “Master has always been very precise in his punishments, I would not expect that to change. If he wishes to punish me further, that is his right.” She moved slowly around the room, as if she wanted to get reacquainted with the room. “I will do whatever I must to please master. That is the honor and duty of his favorites.” Of which Dradvia was one. She had the special clothes to prove it, and the jewels that bedecked her body. “And perhaps one day, Master will see fit to let me watch the men who kidnapped me, stole me from him, die by his hand.”
It wasn’t that Dradvia wasn’t afraid of Lokhar, but she would not cow to another slave. That was, in many ways, more dangerous than Lokhar.

Kryssa watched Dradvia pace the room and smiled- it was a cold a smile, more of a smirk. She looked so feeble, so weak. It was pathetic really. Kryssa fought off the urge to just kill Dradvia right there and then.
“He has indeed. I think you’ll find the punishments have just got harsher over the years you’ve been away. There’s actually a public punishment later today. I’m sure master would want you to be there.” Kryssa was doing her best to try and show her dominance.GM Budgie
OOC: feel free to move time ahead if you’d like. I don’t want to drag this interaction out for longer than it has to :)
