Sisnil set the ship to keep following its present course and then.... Got up and walked off the bridge . “Call a pilot.” He said as he got on the turbo lift.~ Zoi
Turning to Tonav he said, “You may use one torpedo, work closely with the Chief and be careful, we don’t need any accidents on our way.” He turned to see Sisnil exiting the bridge and barking a few words towards him. It made him bristle as he closed his one remaining biological eye before standing and turning to the turbolift, “Computer pause lift.” Then, looking at Sisnil, he spoke quickly, “I understand you’re not an officer however this is what you wanted no? Where are you off to in such a hurry?” He said as he waved towards NE Tony to take the helm.
~Rodrigo Saravia, Executive Officer~
“Oh, don’t make me override the lift, it’s a pain in the ass,” Sisnil complained, turning to face Rodrigo. “I’m not a pilot and I can’t make the ship fly faster. I’m visiting the prisoner.”
~ Zoi
Those little threats were getting rather old and Rodrigo took a beat before responding, “Visit the prisoner hmm? Continue to make light of hacking the systems of my ship and you two can share a cell.” He said as he strode over towards the man, “Now, what exactly do you intend to do when visiting them? I doubt you plan on breaking bread with them…”
~Rodrigo Saravia, Executive Officer~
Sisnil snorted. “I’d like to see you try.” He shrugged, “I have a few questions, that’s all. Don’t we all?”
~ Zoi
It was an hour? Maybe an hour he’d been onboard and this man was absolutely testing as much of his patience as he had. Let it go Rodrigo… let it go.... “We’re a little ways out, I’m interested in what questions you have. I’ll join you.” He said as he made his way into the turbolift himself and said, “Resume” to the computer as the doors closed so it was just the two of them. “Never forget that I’m here to get them back, just as you are. I understand that this is not a natural environment for you, I will not hold that against you. That being said I need to maintain order during missions like this, especially on the bridge.”
~Rodrigo Saravia, Executive Officer~
Sisnil shrugged. “I can respect that. I will say I’m sorry for questioning you publicly. Not sorry for ignoring all this red tape nonsense.” He said as the lift went down.
~ Zoi
Rodrigo took a pause, he was impressed at the man’s ability to show some respect and understanding. He nodded a little, “I appreciate that. I too find the red tape, shall we say, bothersome at times…” He said opening up just a little about himself to the man now that they were alone. “I’m sure you’ve taken the liberty to read my file? Battlefield engineer during the war? Look into my records with Starfleet Security when you have a moment. You may find we’re not too different.”
~Rodrigo Saravia, Executive Officer~
“Only a skim while we were wasting time in the conference room,” Sisnil said with a shrug. He eyed the man, “Maybe… But the battlefield and the Syndicate are two very different arenas.”
~ Zoi
“No doubt.” Rodrigo replied simply as he shifted his head to the left and then to the right, a metallic crinkle and groan coming from the plating on his neck. “Tell me, what do you want to find out and more specifically, how do you plan to do so?”
~Rodrigo Saravia, Executive Officer~
Sisnil remained tight lipped. “My methods are my own.” He replied, shrugging. “As for what, we need to know what we’re going to find when we get there. And as many circumstances surrounding a potential rescue as possible.”
~ Zoi
“Your methods may be your own but the prisoner is mine, on my ship, guarded by my crew.” Rodrigo replied as he kept a cool tone, the words slightly metallic and cold, “We have the same goals and want the same information.” He decided to give just another bit of information on himself, “Now given what I said earlier this isn’t my first interrogation. You are not my prisoner but perhaps it would be advantageous if you were?”
~Rodrigo Saravia, Executive Officer~
“I don’t doubt you learned some things,” Sisnil said easily. “But no one is worse than the Syndicate. Detain me at your own risk.”
~ Zoi
Rodrigo would let out a breath in irritation if he still had lungs that didn’t breathe for him. “The Syndicate must be the most literal bunch if you didn’t understand what I was saying. I thought I’d ask you to go willingly and not put up a fight but if you think a black eye one way or the other would make it more convincing…” He said without a hint of emotion one way or the other.
~Rodrigo Saravia, Executive Officer~
Oh, Sisnil hadn’t expected Rodrigo to help him. “It actually would, yeah. Can’t have people thinking I went willingly. Or you put me there for no reason.” He said, grinning at Rodrigo like a dare.
~ Zoi
Turning to the man slightly he quickly pulled his cybernetic left hand back and let a strong punch directly at Sisnil’s face with enough force to crack a bone if Sisnil wasn’t ready for it. After it connected he lowered his hand and stood facing the man, his expression still neutral waiting for the return favor. Only fair if they both were a little worse for wear, and besides, his implants were designed to withstand combat with the Jem Hadar, he wasn’t afraid of a little scuffle to heighten the realism.
~Rodrigo Saravia, Executive Officer~
Sisnil was ready and it was still a whopper. The man had a fist, at least. Sisnil could sense he got a freebie retaliatory strike, so he let loose his own fist with the best uppercut he knew how to give.
~ Zoi
His head popped back and there was a grinding sound of metal on metal as he looked down and rubbed his chin slightly, before moving his jaw to the left or the right, “Computer pause recording of all sensors within Turbolift 1 for 30 seconds, then erase records of this command from all logs.” He said before the computer beeped and he held his left arm up, his hand clunking a little and bending unnaturally down. A reticle appeared in his cybernetic eye piece as he took aim at Sisnil’s chest. Three small dashes indicating mid stun showed up under the reticle for Rodrigo as he said, “Stun or no? Your choice”
~Rodrigo Saravia, Executive Officer~
Sisnil gritted his teeth. “Do it.” Being stunned wasn’t exactly comfortable, but it would make it more believable. And Sisnil had lived through worse.
~ Zoi
A pale almost sickly greenish yellow colored beam of energy shot from where one would expect his wrist to be and hit Sisnil squarely in the chest. Rodrigo reset his hand and shook it slightly before he said, “Computer, resume turbolift”
~Rodrigo Saravia, Executive Officer~
Sisnil fell back against the side of the turbo lift, looking sufficiently stunned. “Drag me there.... Doubt you’ll need to make your joy at that look real.”
~ Zoi
As the lift came to a halt, he reached down to grab Sisnil’s arms, making sure to properly brace the man so that he would have as little discomfort as possible given the blast, he still wanted to show respect and restraint, “You may be right on that one. To be fair I saw the twinkle when you went to punch me so it’s not as if you didn’t enjoy that yourself.” He said as the doors opened and started to drag the man out. The upper cut had split his chin a little and caused him to bite the inside of his cheek, Rodrigo made sure to push some of that blood out the side of his mouth for effect. He turned to the officer in charge and said, “Open the cell, he’s going in too.” Without offering an explanation, a sound of anger and urgency in his voice that wasn’t there before, a small sparkle in his eye as he dragged Sisnil towards the cell containing the Romulan.
~Rodrigo Saravia, Executive Officer~
Sisnil appreciated the consideration. Still effectively a sack of potatoes with a mouth, he settled for looking sufficiently disgruntled, annoyed, and angry as he stared down officers they passed.
~ Zoi
The Officers on duty leapt to obey the Commander and they dropped the forcefield to the cell with the Romulan. They held their phasers at the ready, just in case.
The Romulan, who had been sitting on the floor not engaging, looked up at the newcomer and frowned. The Romulan was typical Romulan looking. Tall and broad shouldered. He had short hair and dark brown eyes that were almost black. He frowned as Sisnil was placed roughly into the cell but went back to staring the floor, smiling.
GM Budgie
Sisnil landed on the floor, also rather like a sack of potatoes. Though potatoes typically did not “oof” on contact with the floor. Sisnil was 5‘2, small in build, with brown hair and black Betazoid eyes. Yet he looked at this Romulan without a care or fear in the world. “You. You came off that ship, didn’t you?”
~ Zoi
Rodrigo looked at Sisnil and spat some blood onto the floor before saying simply, “Behave. I’ll be watching” a few words with double the meaning only known to Sisnil were he paying attention. He turned around and rubbed his mouth, he looked at the two officers and nodded silently before leaving the brig, heading back towards the bridge where he would pull up the view of the brig and pipe in the audio to his auditory processor from that cell.
~Rodrigo Saravia, Executive Officer~
The Romulan didn’t give Sisnil much of glance, he just looked up briefly as he was brought into the cell. He returned to staring at the floor. He gave the barest nod in response to Sisnil’s question.
GM Budgie
Sisnil spoke in Orion then, a phrase that was well known to mean, “You’re in the Syndicate, right?” The romulan would have to answer correctly to confirm his allegiance to the Syndicate.
~ Zoi
OOC: I’m so sorry I completely missed this!

The Romulan looked confused for a second, frowned, then continued to look down.GM Budgie
”.....No.” Sisn sighed, annoyed. “Worked with them, then?” He asked. “Look, I know you’ve had contact, you can’t lie to me.”
~ Zoi
The Romulan sighed and mumbled something in Romulan before looking at Sisnil. He was a rough looking man, with scars all over his face. He was clearly a career soldier and had seen much.
“Some of the Commanders have..... dealings. I don’t know much else.” He replied grimly.GM Budgie
“No?” Sisnil grinned, confidently and cheekily. “Heard of the Zoi brothers? What kind of reward might you get should you cooperate with me, do you think?” And then he winked.
The Romulan raised an eyebrow slightly intrigued.
“Reward?” He asked and then looked up as McCallister burst in.The door slid open and the newly appointed Security Chief strolled in, her red hair tied up in a professional braid. She looked at the two prisoners, her glowing blue eyes seeming none too pleased. She then walked over to the two security officers and quietly conferred with both. After a moment, she turned and said “Seperate them. Privacy fields for both. And I will start with… that one.” and she pointed at Zoi.
The guards made sure that both prisoners were covered as the detention field came down and McCallister looked at Zoi. “Move. Next door. No talking.”
McCallister, CoS / CTO
Who the hell was this? She was going to ruin his operation! The XO had agreed to this… Though they’d kept their little deal private. Sisnil was unsure if Rodrigo had told anyone else. It hadn’t exactly been planned in advance. Sisnil had the facial bruising to make it look real though and so did the XO. He scowled at McCallister. “Or what?”
~ Zoi
The Romulan eyed the guards suspiciously and sized them up to see if he could take them before he got shot and then sighed, realising it wouldn’t be possible. He sat quietly and waited to see how this would play out.

McCallister looked at Zoi and sighed. It was sigh not of frustration or irritation; but if boredom. “Look my guy. I really do not have the time or the bandwidth to play games with you. Now… please… move your ass into the next cell or we’ll just atun you… a lot… and then move your unconscious body in there anyway. It’s really not a hard choice; but if you want to be a pain in the ass, just know that I don’t play games. Ok? So which will it be?” and she drew her phaser and held it at her side. “Option one or two?” Her tone was direct, matter-of-fact, and purely inflexible.
McCallister, CoS / CTO
“Okay, okay,” Sisnil said, hands up as much as they could be. “I’m walkin’, you can put your control by pain device away.” He gave her a look, both trying to convey his feelings of ‘What are you doing’ and to use his telepathy to gauge the answer to that himself.
~ Zoi
“Thank you. I appreciate your cooperation.” she said flatly and motioned for them to move to the cell. Once he was inside - with McCallister following - the privacy screen was activated on both cells,
The Security Chief’s thoughts were a little hard to get a hold of; not because of any barrier or telepathic ability; but rather there was a kind of ‘white noise’ surrounding her thoughts. But with a slight effort, he was able to discern that the Security Chief had no idea there was any kind of operation going on. Nor was she trying to interfere. She was doing what was standard practice in interrogating suspects: keeping them seperated and listening to the story they told, then comparing the details to see where the falsehoods lay.
She looked at Zoi and gave him a half smile. “So…” and she looked at the bruising on his face where the cybernetic hand of the XO had connected and chuckled softly, “… wanna explain why you and the XO decided to crash my brig without any kind of notification? I mean, I know I’m only responsible for the safety and security of both the crew and the prisoners in my custody… but maybe make an exception for someone not as high up the covert operations food chain and tell me what the f~€k you two are doing so I can at least not mess it up by doing my job?”
McCallister, CoS / CTO
“Well,” Sisnil said, looking up at her. “We came up with it in the lift, and I can’t risk that man,” he pointed towards the other cell. “finding out that I’m working for you.” He sounded disgusted as he said it. “I was trying to find out if he knows anyone I do, so I could get a lead on Dradvia’s location when you so rudely interrupted me. And I didn’t tell you, because I don’t know you, I didn’t have a chance, and even if I had, I can’t trust you.”
Sisnil had recently lost his natural eyes and had an extensive surgery to receive his own cybernetic eyes. And with those eyes, he could tell McCallister… Well, she also had cybernetic eyes. He grinned slightly. “Your eyes. They’re cybernetic.”
~ Zoi
“No shit.” she replied flatly. “They teach all you super spies to be so perceptive? What gave it away? My unflinching gaze or the fact that they glow blue bright enough to make shadow puppets with?” She crossed her arms on her chest and leaned against the wall, picking up her left foot bending her leg at the knee to place it flat on the wall. “Listen, I may not be the most experienced officer on this ship, but even I know that people taken into custody on a ship this size aren’t typically put in the same cell; espevially when there are multiple cells available. If that guy didn’t think that was weird now, he probably would have sooner rather than later.” She was quiet a moment, her glowing eyes never leaving Zoi’s. “What if you managed to talk to him in a way he thought wasn’t allowed? Like you’re being sneaky about it? Might give you more credibility and would play into his criminal tendencies.”
McCallister, CoS / CTO
“Okay, firstly, I’m not a ‘super spy’, I’m a Syndicate pirate.” Sisnil replied, rolling his eyes. “Secondly, I run a crew of seven, I’m not used to a ship this size, nor do I actually want to be here.” He did, however, consider her idea and shrugged. “Come up with a plausible way, and I’ll do it. He’s not the most useful of prisoners, but I’m not convinced he doesn’t know anything at all.”
~ Zoi
McCallister waved his corrections away with a flick of her hand. “Potato, tomato.” she said and rolled her eyes. “Ok then… Let me ask you this: Were you searched? Patted down before he chuckled you in the cell? If not, it would be entirely plausible you had a little something-something on your person after you were detained, yeah? And Joey. Bag-O-Donuts over there would have seen you not be frisked… right?”
McCallister, CoS / CTO
”....No, I wasn’t.” Sisnil did not want to admit it, but she was right. “He kind of… Tossed me in like a stray cat.” He looked at McCallister. “So what’s your point?”
~ Zoi
She nodded and then walked up to the field. Tapping her comms, she said “Open up.” and she looked back over her shoulder. “Don’t go away.” she said with a grin as the field dropped and she stepped out. The field snapped back into place, opening again a few long moments later. The field came up and she handed him a Type 1 phaser. “Here. Use that as you will, just not on my team. I’d suggest maybe cutting a small hole between cells so you two can… I dunno… let’s say ‘get to know each other. How does that sound?”
McCallister, CoS / CTO
Sisnil glanced at the phaser, then McCallister, then nodded. A part of him was surprised she trusted him enough to give him one. “You’ve my word.”
~ Zoi
“Good.” and she turned to leave. As the privacy field dropped she turned and said “By the way, if you so much as make my team’s blood pressure raise even just a little; I’ll happily transport you outside of the ship while we are at warp.” Whether or not the statement was genuine or for the selling of the ruse was not clear.
McCallister, CoS / CTO
(OOC: Just keeping this on the boards- and mainly so I don’t forget about this thread)
TomSisnil, as a strong telepath, would be able to tell whether it was genuine. Either way, he grinned and shook his head. “Teach your team to take a hit, then.”
There was an odd kind of interference around her thoughts at first, but then he could get a clearer connection… and apparently the Security Chief was not one for hyperbole. “Learn to be subtle.” she said over her shoulder as the field closed.
When she was gone, he waited for a good opportunity to get to work with the phaser. After all, it would be suspicious if the guards didn’t try to stop him.
~ Zoi
It didn’t take long for the opening to be made… and for the field to open up and the guards to be visible. “Phaser!” one yelled and they each drew their own weapons.
Standard protocol for prisoners in custody was phaser to be set on stun… But there were several levels of that available to guards. And the only way to know what they had chosen was to feel it.
(OOC: Feel free to use the guards as you want. Just don’t kill ‘em, ok? Veronica would be REALLY pissed if that happened.)
McCallister, CoS / CTO
So much for not raising their blood pressure, Sisnil thought as he turned and reacted. Switching the phaser to stun as he didn’t thing McCallister or Morris, but more importantly Fleet command, would appreciate dead officers, he tapped the trigger three times, one per officer. The first one was a hit, the next two intentional misses. The first was reflex, the second two he realized he didn’t actually want to escape. And this… wasn’t going to be fun.
~ Zoi
Cpl Burcham walked into the brig, just as the first officer was hit. He watched as Sisnil missed the other two, but had his Pulse Compression rifle trained on Sisnil. “Drop the phaser” He yelled.
Cpl Burcham, MarineOne of Guards was hit as Sisnil intended, the other two had moved out of the reflexively. Making for cover. They turned as the Marine entered the room. Their courage returned and they both fired back at Sisnil.
GM Budgie
<Bump>
Cpl Burcham dodged around the corner as they fired, and returned fire periodically peeking around the corner he was using for cover, not sure if he was or had stunned anyone or not.
Cpl Burcham, MarineThe man was a Marine, his shooting was on the mark and Sisnil was stunned. He’d have to check later if he’d accomplished his goal before this idiot ruined everything. He hoped that tactical woman knew about this.
~ Zoi
The guards peered out from behind cover and grinned.
“Looks like you got ‘im Corp!” One of them said proudly. “Good shootin’! What do you want us to do with ‘im?” The guard asked.GM Budgie
Cpl Burcham quickly surveyed the area. “Secure that weapon, and place him in the cell with the Romulan for the time being, then check the integrity of that cell, I just got here, so I don’t know how he escaped it, so let’s get that investigated please.” he stated thinking out the best type of plan for the situation.
Cpl Burcham, MarineThe guards nodded. One of them picked up the phaser and the other lifted Sisnil and dumped him unceremoniously in the cell with the Romulan and gave him a kick in the ribs for good measure.
“That’ll learn ya’.” He stated with glare and turned leaving Sisnil alone with the Romulan who raised an eyebrow as the pirate was dumped on the floor. The guards then approached Corporal Burcham.
“You know, there is a listening device in each of these cells, we could activate it and then we could hear what the pirate scum and Romulan are talking about.”GM Budgie
“As long as they can’t know it’s there, do it, please.” Cpl Burcham told the guards.
Cpl Burcham, MarineThe guards nodded, moved over to a console and activated the camera and audio in the cell. Sisnil needed to come to and then they would be able to hear what was being discussed.
