“O… ohkay.” She followed Sisnil into his quarters with a fearful glance back over her shoulder. She didn’t like being in someone else’s space, but she felt better with Sisnil near.
Inside she sank to the floor by his small couch. Simon wandered over after greeting Sisnil. She picked him up and cuddled him. His purrs lulled her to sleep. It didn’t take long either before she was asleep, sitting up on the floor.
She didn’t sleep well either. She never woke up, but she was tormented by nightmares. By the time her sleep settled she would never make it for her shift.

Sisnil sat on the floor with her, trying his best to help keep her calm. He didn’t wake her, he simply sent Tessan a message using the computer system. It read, “En. Dradvia won’t make it to shift today. You know why. - Sisnil”

Sisnil did take care of her. Dradvia had been disoriented and confused to find herself waking up on the floor of Sisnil’s quarters. Simon curled up purring against her. She’d been very upset she’d missed her shift, certain that Dr. Tessan would be angry with her. In the ‘light of day’, as it were, Dradvia remembered the session and Tessan’s insistence that something had been done to her.
She remembered she had been terribly frightened afterwards, and something in the memory had bothered her. Every time she tried to think about it, to focus on it, she had a panic attack. That made no sense to her. She’d fallen and scared herself into a flashback. She shouldn’t be panicking over it. Stressed and worried, but not full blown panic. Yet it continued to happen every time.
Tessan had not in fact been upset with her, but she still worked extra hard to make up for it. She was severely agitated the day of her next appointment. Whatever had happened she didn’t want to repeat it. She wanted Sisnil with her, but the need to stop anyone from accusing him falsely stopped her from asking him again. She couldn’t miss the appointment though. She’d given Dr. Tessan her word that she would put in the work. So she pressed the chime on his office door, feeling sicker by the minute.
