Pondering the words and events with the Captain, Wraith decided it was best to go straight to security and meet with his Department Head. As he collected his thoughts and recentered his mind, memories from the past few years shuffled across his conscious. This isn’t the time or place, he thought to himself and shoved the waves of pain and emotion down into the recess of his mind where only the most trained interogationist could reach them.As he entered the office he scanned the room hoping his new Chief of Security would be present. The computer had just a few minutes before indicated that she was here but he knew from experience how quickly the job of CoS could pull you all over the ship.
He paused and took a moment to scan the room and wait for someone to notice him.

OOC: Is this interview before, during, or after the current sim? Considering the state of Alita, it’s kind of important.
- Catt
OCC: I think it would be hilarious if it was during. Cel could stop by too and we could really have some fun.
-Cel
The way I’ve written my other evals sadly it is before the current sim, however, maybe it’s something we could look into doing ;)
-PeterOOC: Before is fine. Terry, remind me never to ask you a question that could have a weird answer on the ship itself.
IC: As Wraith entered the small office the unmistakable smell of non-replicated coffee and pastries would assail him. Alita set aside what she had been reading and looked up. As far as she remembered, there were no appointments set up today but, here stood another Ensign older than she was. The Wolverine was getting a bad reputation for such things in her mind.
Wraith immediately noticed the smell. Replicated coffee was fine by him but the real thing had a aromatic bitterness that the computer just couldn’t quite synthesize.
“Hello Ensign, I’m Lieutenant Claire. You’re here for check in yes?” she asked just to be sure.
- Alita, COS
“Yes, Lieutenant. I just came from the Captain’s ready room and so thought I stop by and see if you were busy and if I could take a minute to impose. If though you would rather schedule a time to meet I fully understand.” He wanted to give her the option as not everyone liked having meetings thrust upon them.
- Peter “Wraith” McGarvey (Security)
“No no. I’m always looking forward to meeting new people, especially if I’m going to work with them. So please, sit down and tell me all about yourself.” ALita said as she stood to pour more coffee from the pot in the corner.
Her sparkling green eyes took in the new Ensign though she wasn’t certain what to make of him yet.
“Coffee? Straight form Tanzania.” she asked.
- Alita, COS
Wraith walked in, “Yes, please. I haven’t had real coffee in quite sometime.”
He sat down waiting patiently observing her body language and the room trying to garner as many clues as to who his new Department Head was as well as clues to how the Security of this ship was operated.

Alita didn’t mind serving a stranger coffee but if he ever became family, he’d learn to serve himself.
She poured a large cup of steaming coffee and set it on a tray with a small bowl of sugar and small pitcher of cream.
Setting it in front of him, she went around to the other side of the desk in front of him.
Her office was small and would be considered cluttered if it wasn’t so well organized.
“Welcome tot he Wolverine. I can read your file which will, I’m sure, tell me a lot about you but, first, I’d like you to tell me about yourself. What you say and what you omit will also tell me a lot.” she spoke in calm friendly tones obviously not trying to be intimidating at that moment.
- Alita, MO/COS
He sipped the coffee pondering for a moment, “I’m highly trained, not just by Star Fleet but by previous sources, primarily self taught via holosuite technology. I’m efficient in spying, espionage, assination, combat, piloting, weapons, basic engineering, and I can cook.” was Thomas wearing off on him, did he just crack a joke at the end of a very serious run off of skills and abilities.
He took another sip of coffee and continued.
“Of course I can also implement proper security protocols. In general, I’m well rounded and very adaptable. In many ways this was the ship I should always have been placed on unless they wanted me to monitor a station or settlement.”
He waited for Chief’s response.

Alita wondered why he hadn’t gone for Mission Officer training like she and her sister had, but that might be another conversation.
“Well. Asked and answered I suppose. We do a lot of cross training here being such a small ship. I have a feeling that may appeal to you. Do you have any other interests, I mean besides work and… Cooking you say?” Alita asked with a smile.
- Alita, MO/CIO
“In a manner of speaking, hand to hand combat, martial arts: especially ancient disciplines have always been a… hobby of mine. I also spend time studying and reading about history. I’m also a fan of the classics and try and read a chapter a night at least after my evening workout.” He had spent his whole life preparing to help others and keep what happened to him from happening to others that his “enjoyment” in life was so intertwined with his work that for many including himself the two often blurred together.

Alita felt that this was a very dedicated soul or someone who needed to be hyper vigilant. Perhaps she would be able to make that distinction once she got to know him.
“Okay, so I’m not big on the whole formal interview thing. Just know that I would like to get to know you as more than a file and a face that shows up for their duty shift. I would never ask you to do anything that I wouldn’t do myself and it doesn’t matter wheter you’re in work out gear or dress uniform, we are always on duty.” she said with quiet command in her voice.
