Sisnil set the ship to keep following its present course and then.... Got up and walked off the bridge . “Call a pilot.” He said as he got on the turbo lift.

Turning to Tonav he said, “You may use one torpedo, work closely with the Chief and be careful, we don’t need any accidents on our way.” He turned to see Sisnil exiting the bridge and barking a few words towards him. It made him bristle as he closed his one remaining biological eye before standing and turning to the turbolift, “Computer pause lift.” Then, looking at Sisnil, he spoke quickly, “I understand you’re not an officer however this is what you wanted no? Where are you off to in such a hurry?” He said as he waved towards NE Tony to take the helm.

“Oh, don’t make me override the lift, it’s a pain in the ass,” Sisnil complained, turning to face Rodrigo. “I’m not a pilot and I can’t make the ship fly faster. I’m visiting the prisoner.”

Those little threats were getting rather old and Rodrigo took a beat before responding, “Visit the prisoner hmm? Continue to make light of hacking the systems of my ship and you two can share a cell.” He said as he strode over towards the man, “Now, what exactly do you intend to do when visiting them? I doubt you plan on breaking bread with them…”

Sisnil snorted. “I’d like to see you try.” He shrugged, “I have a few questions, that’s all. Don’t we all?”

It was an hour? Maybe an hour he’d been onboard and this man was absolutely testing as much of his patience as he had. Let it go Rodrigo… let it go.... “We’re a little ways out, I’m interested in what questions you have. I’ll join you.” He said as he made his way into the turbolift himself and said, “Resume” to the computer as the doors closed so it was just the two of them. “Never forget that I’m here to get them back, just as you are. I understand that this is not a natural environment for you, I will not hold that against you. That being said I need to maintain order during missions like this, especially on the bridge.”

Sisnil shrugged. “I can respect that. I will say I’m sorry for questioning you publicly. Not sorry for ignoring all this red tape nonsense.” He said as the lift went down.

Rodrigo took a pause, he was impressed at the man’s ability to show some respect and understanding. He nodded a little, “I appreciate that. I too find the red tape, shall we say, bothersome at times…” He said opening up just a little about himself to the man now that they were alone. “I’m sure you’ve taken the liberty to read my file? Battlefield engineer during the war? Look into my records with Starfleet Security when you have a moment. You may find we’re not too different.”

“Only a skim while we were wasting time in the conference room,” Sisnil said with a shrug. He eyed the man, “Maybe… But the battlefield and the Syndicate are two very different arenas.”

“No doubt.” Rodrigo replied simply as he shifted his head to the left and then to the right, a metallic crinkle and groan coming from the plating on his neck. “Tell me, what do you want to find out and more specifically, how do you plan to do so?”

Sisnil remained tight lipped. “My methods are my own.” He replied, shrugging. “As for what, we need to know what we’re going to find when we get there. And as many circumstances surrounding a potential rescue as possible.”

“Your methods may be your own but the prisoner is mine, on my ship, guarded by my crew.” Rodrigo replied as he kept a cool tone, the words slightly metallic and cold, “We have the same goals and want the same information.” He decided to give just another bit of information on himself, “Now given what I said earlier this isn’t my first interrogation. You are not my prisoner but perhaps it would be advantageous if you were?”

“I don’t doubt you learned some things,” Sisnil said easily. “But no one is worse than the Syndicate. Detain me at your own risk.”
