Lokhar’s quarters were fairly moderate, mostly bare of belongings save for a picture of Dradvia next to the bed. There were weapons on the walls but that was it for decoration. He had always been a man of simple pleasures. There was a single window looking out into the blackness of space. Lokhar paced up and down his quarters anxiously awaiting the arrival of Dradvia, his most prized slave and long lost companion. He had paid a high price for her return and was desperate to see her again. Ever since the day she left he had searched the far reaches of the quadrant. At long last she had been found again. His heart was pounding as he paced, he hadn’t known a feeling like it for a very long time. He had hardened his heart to most feelings, they only got in the way for a Pirate and slaver but this was…different. Almost exciting, like the build up to a raid, the anticipation of the kill. Of course he would never kill Dradvia. He would punish her yes, she had left him to die, after all he had done for her. How could she!? He had given her food, shelter, a place in his home and on his ship. She had thrown that all away. He began to get angry and then clenched his fists, took a breath and calmed himself. He continued to pace, deep in thought. They appeared on board and the ‘doctor’ was waiting. He shoved a hypo against her neck and took a blood sample. His tricorder scanned it and he nodded with a twisted grin. “It’s her.” It was horrible being dragged down the corridors of his ship. She was going to be sick. Then they saw the first group of slaves. She was spit at, tripped, her hair yanked. Even by the ones with sympathy in their eyes. They had to shun her, least Lokhar think they had helped her or were thinking of assisting after her punishment. The ones who only drew weapons and threatened were the worst. They would met out their own punishment later for her betrayal of their master.
10 minutes past, but it felt like hours. The door to his quarters opened and his men dragged Dradvia into the room. Lokhar had been looking out the window. He continued to do so as he heard the doors open. He controlled the urge to turn sharply. Eventually, one of his men coughed awkwardly.
She stood, suspended between two guards. She bowed her head, not looking at him, though every nerve, every sense was keenly aware of the monster she was being sacrificed to. She didn’t make a sound. She barely breathed. If she didn’t he would hear her hyperventilating, and that would please him.
“We’ve brought her as requested Sir.” The man said. Lokhar grinned and turned around. He was awestruck by her beauty, he couldn’t believe his eyes.
“You sure this is her?” He asked. The men nodded. Lokhar smiled, it was a smile that never seemed to reach his eyes so one was left wandering whether he was ever being genuine.
“Dee. Welcome home.” He said.GM Budgie
She flinched, her knees buckled and the guards let her fall. ‘Dee?’ No, No! She couldn’t contemplate that Sisnil had betrayed her. Someone, someone on the ship. The Romulan spies. They must have heard him and told Lokhar. Please, please let it be a coincidence. If they knew about Sisnil they would kill him. That thought was unbearable, even if he had betrayed her.
She stayed on the floor, head bowed, not daring to look up. She should beg, plead, but she couldn’t make herself, she was paralyzed by fear and a growing churning in her stomach that made it hard to breathe.

Lokhar frowned as Dradvia fell to the floor. He left her there for a moment as he took her in, my had she grown since he had last seen her. Her beaty really was striking.
“Are you okay Dee? My men haven’t hurt you have they?” He asked with a frown and glance at the others who looked terrified. He was known for exacting severe retribution on anyone who crossed him.Oh how she wanted to lie and say they had. A shiver of vengeful justice coursed through her. If she lied, and he would find out, it would add to her punishment. One had hit her after all, but when they told him she tried to refuse to return…
An idea did come to her. She could say the Romulans had harmed her.Maybe, just maybe it would buy the others time and stop the Romulan ship from getting away. Or… Lokhar could destroy it and everyone on it.
“No, Master,” How she hated how easily she remembered her place and how she must behave. She hated herself even more for not fighting back. “Your men did not harm me. It is the drug the Romulans used. It makes me ill.” That wasn’t a lie. The drug did have a lingering effect, and after being forcibly subjected to many drugs at Lokhar’s whims, Dradvia was especially susceptible. “They had to drag me, Master, because I could not walk.”
“Its okay, I’ve found you at last. Are you not pleased to see me? Your master again?” He added, concern lacing his every word. Dradvia, knowing Lokhar, would know it was all mostly an act but he did seem genuinely concerned that his men had harmed her.
GM Budgie
Lokhar only cared because he wanted the pleasure of handling all her punishment personally. She knew that. She also knew that Lokhar would never allow anyone else to touch her, harm her in any way. She was his. In that he did care. One of his men had gotten rough with her once. Before Lokhar had claimed her for himself. He had killed the man. She had mistakenly thought she had found a protector.
She kept her gaze down. She was afraid to look at him, even if he were to give her permission to do so. It wasn’thard to play the part of being intoxicatedby the drug. She felt enough fear to make her body react that way anyway. She struggled and faltered up to her knees and sat back on her legs. “I knew you would find, Master. I knew whatever Star Fleet did to take me away, you would find me.” It was true she knew that, had always been afraid, except she had thought he was dead. “They told me you were dead; I did not believe them Master.” There was, and she was ashamed, of the pleading in her voice. It wasn’t her fault he lost her. She stopped talking. He hadn’t asked for that much information. Another mark against her, she was sure. She couldn’t do this again. She couldn’t like through it. Could she reach one of the guards’ knives and use it before they stopped her. She trembled with fear and knew that would please Lokhar more. It would not find her any mercy.

Lokhar nodded as Dradvia kept her gaze down. He was pleased that she remembered her place. She was a slave and, most importantly, she was his. His property to do with as he saw fit. He looked over to his men.
“Leave us and get the ship moving, we’ve got work to do and Dee and I have a lot to catch up on.” His men left instantly. When the door shut he faced Dradvia.
If the Romulans had fed her, Dradvia would have thrown up. There was safety in his men being there. Once they were gone there was no hope of a rescue.
“You can look at me Dee. I understand you thought I was dead. I thought I was too. I wouldn’t blame you for thinking I was dead, you know. I do blame you for running away. You realise I’m going to have to punish you for leaving me don’t you? You’re going to make me punish you for running away. I don’t want to. I’m a changed man Dee, but I have to set an example to the others. You know how it is? I can’t be seen to have favourites. If only you’d stayed, you would have been rewarded immensely for your loyalty.”
He sighed regretfully.
The truth was, she hadn’t run. Star Fleet had taken her from this very room. She had been bound and drugged and dehydrated. Some sick twisted fun Lokhar liked. She couldn’t even remember which one exactly. She had been too intoxicated by the drugs. When she had seen Lokhar go down and someone said he was dead, she had passed out, the fight leaving her. She had woken on a Federation ship. It didn’t matter. She could plead her case that she was stolen, but it wouldn’t help.
Dradvia did not look at him. He said she could, not that she had to look at him. She remembered how he liked when she kept her head down when she knew punishment was coming. As if she felt ashamed and remorse. That she willingly accepted the punishment. In reality it stopped him from seeing the fear in her eyes. But there was something new, deep inside. She was not his Dee. The way he said it made her feel unclean, like she had some plague that got worse every time he said it. She was in his control, at his whims, but she swore she would never answer to the name. Even knowing one day he would make sure she had to.
“Unfortunately you’re making me punish you.” He looked hurt and turned towards a cabinet on a back wall. He took out an implement, it was a rod. Dradvia would be familiar with it. It was used to shock victims. It caused extreme pain and was commonly used on slaves.
Dradvia tensed her eye, still not looking at him, locked on the rod. She remembered it. Her nerves still twitched from remembered trauma occasionally. It was like a Klingon pain stick, but with warp drive. She couldn’t stop the way she scooted back, the way her eyes widened in fear and hopelessness.
“It will be over quickly. I don’t want to have to do this again, please don’t give me another excuse.” He said as stepped forward and used it on her grimacing as he did so.

As he reaches for her, to her shame she begged. “Don’t! Please Master Lokhar! No! They took me from you. It wasn....” Her screams echoed down the corridor as fire and pain and ripped sinew and electricity exponentially more painful than the forcefield ripped through her body.
The ship went silent as her screams echoed down the bulk heads. A special intercom that allowed everyone to hear the punishment. The slaves worked harder than ever, the audible reminder of what awaited them for disobedience. Some were as depraved as Lokhar and took joy in her pain, others dared a thought for her soul and took pity on her ignorance of the consequences. Those who hoped to escape died a little inside realizing the futility of their hope.
When it was over, Dradvia lay in a crumpled heap on the floor. She had lost all control of her bodily functions. Her limbs still twitched painfully as the residual shocks continued to tear at her. Her nose was bleeding, and there were burns where the stick had touched. Her soul cried, begging Sisnil to save her like he promised. Luckily for her, her throat was torn raw from the screams and his name never passed her lips.
