Dr Tessan, McAlister, Cel, Sisnil and Hilderbrand materialised to the conference room. Hilderbrand immediately moved over to the head of the table and waited patiently for the Chief Engineer to join them. He sat down and tapped on a console loading up the trace on the warp trail, he tapped and sent over the co-ordinates to the . He looked at the others.
“Well, it seems we know where they’re going. We’ve got the trail and I’ve sent the co-ordinates to the helm. We need a plan. I’d appreciate any thoughts you all may have.” Hilderbrand said, thinking away himself.

GM Budgie

“Do you want my ideas, or will you shoot them down because I’m a ‘pirate’?” Sisnil asked Hilderbrand pointedly. “I know you don’t like a pirate opinion but I do have a lot of experience with this type of mission.”

Hilderbrand frowned, he was not happy.
“I will take any suggestions right now. Even if they are from a pirate.” He almost spat the word.

GM Budgie

“Identify the warp trail so the type of ship can be identified,” Sisnil started. “That’s… Science’s job, yeah? Have them project a course, figure out where they’re headed. Sounds like we’ve done that.”

He looked around at everyone present. “Make a way to disrupt their warp field, if we can catch them, then we use it and stop them.” He waved a hand, “Don’t tell me it can’t be done, I’ve seen it before, get Engineering on it, right now, jdnx’lit,” it was an orion-syndicate word meaning, essentially, ASAP.

Then, he grinned. “Once we’re within connection range, give me the computer system. I’ll have their ship disabled entirely and their information before they know what’s hit ‘em.” He looked at Hildebrand again, “Without a drop of bloodshed, we’ll have everything we need to save them. Maybe have them already, if they’re still on board.”

Hilderbrand nodded it was a solid idea he still begrudged it coming from Sisnil though. He was about to reply when the hum of a transport occurred. Three officers suddenly appeared. Rodrigo Saravia, Nathan Marshal and Xander Burcham. Hilderbrand looked confused for a second until a com came through. =^=The two new Officers and enlisted marine were meant to meet you at the Starbase before you left, but we were stuck here so they’re joining you now. Good luck=^= Hilderbrand sighed slightly to himself and then smiled at the newcomers. He held out his hand as he introduced himself.
“Captain Horatio Lionel Von Stephens Hilderbrand III, pleased to meet you all. Although you’ve joined us at a tense time. We have a bit of a situation. Several of the crew have been captured. We’re just devising a plan to get them back.” Hilderbrand explained.

GM Budgie

“Capitán, it’s good to meet you, however it would have been nice under different circumstances. Tell me, what do we know?” Rodrigo asked, his voice heavy and metallic as he spoke. The man took in the scene before him, his human eye and the ocular implant blending a mixture of visible light and the broader electromagnetic spectrum in his vision as he leaned on the table, looking towards Captain Hilderbrand.

Not the introduction to a ship that Rodrigo had invisioned to be honest, he figured he’d come aboard on a shuttle, take a little time to introduce himself to the Commander, go get a check in with Medical, let Engineering inspect his implants, that sort of thing. Jumping into the fray right off the bat was unexpected, yet not entirely unknown to the war veteran.

Hilderbrand sighed deeply. He was a man who looked like he had been through a lot in the last few hours. He rubbed his eyes before responding.
“Well, we were just heading over to the Ragnar to look into what happened there and half my detachment kidnapped several crew members, the Captain included. We don’t know why yet. Imperial Sabre have captured a Commodore. She’s the ranking Intelligence agent in the sector. Again, we don’t really know why but we were trying to find out. We were just about to follow the warp trail from the Romulan ship when you three beamed over.” Hilderbrand said feeding back what he knew trying to remain calm and professional, inside he was seething keen to exact revenge.

GM Budgie

“And if we want those crew members back in one piece, I suggest prompt action,” urged Sisnil, looking at the new commander. “Captain Sisnil Zoi, Syndicate consultant. Unwittingly.” He said, a note of bitterness in his voice. “This discussion is pointless. We need to act. Now. The Syndicate does not waste time and the files I was asked to look into indicate this is a Syndicate abduction. Dradvia-” he stopped himself and took a breath, “Everyone that was taken is in grave and immediate danger.”

If his ocular implant could impart emotion it would be the disappointment that was visible on his brow. He listened to both and exhaled slowly, turning to Sisnil, the man who seemed to be all action and said with his deep metallic voice, “Pleasure to meet you I’m sure.” Before turning to the Captain and saying “So we are heading to investigate and the only thing we have to go on is a warp trail, missing crew including a high ranking intelligence agent? Que marabilloso…”

He thought for a moment, turned to Sisnil, his voice imparting a sense of irritation at the man as he said, “Do you think we’re in some holo-novel? You want to act, tell me, what does that look like? Go in guns blazing? Try to infiltrate and sneak around? Give me a plan to work with rather than bluster about what we have to do. Of course they’re in immediate danger, no one is abducted to go to Risa.” He said, knowing his words would likely piss off the man but he hoped it would also stir him to be more useful than “lets go!”

Sisnil huffed impatiently. “I already gave a plan, your royal tardiness.” He said, smashing his fist into the table, “and if you don’t hurry up, they’ll be a lot worse off than dead!”

“Forgive me then, my hearing just isn’t the same in a pattern buffer and the sounds of being molecularly reconstructed is rather loud one might say.” He replied, understanding that he indeed had missed parts of the meeting, but being informed was something that Rodrigo enjoyed and just ‘going with a plan’ he knew nothing about, especially one from such a savory and upstanding character, rubbed him the wrong way. He turned to Hildebrand, “Where do we stand, Capitán?”

“Great, waste more time. I’m sure the mutilated corpses of your crewmates will thank you.” Sisnil hissed, snatching his PaDD. He’d already created a pathway into the main computer. A quick glance at a new personnel file and he hid the ever so slight trace of a grin. He stood, shoulder checking Saravia on the way out, muttering a crude Orion name-calling word under his breath as he did.

Then the real work began. The lucky thing for him was, everything was computer controlled these days. Including cybernetic body parts. With a few extra lines of code added to something strategically placed during his shoulder check, Saravia would soon be having some difficulties controlling his cybernetics. Nothing harmful, but it would delay him.

Using his pathways into the main compter, he locked out the bridge’s control systems, rerouting all control to his PaDD. He took his comm badge off and set it somewhere it should take a whole to find and hid himself away. Then pulled up helm controls and set the ship to warp in the direction of the warp trail.
