It had been several days after the day they’d used the garden Holoprogram, the days going much the same. They’d talk and visit, stave off each other’s loneliness. Then came the day they parted after breakfast and Dradvia didn’t see Sisnil for the rest of the day. He seemed to be nowhere. If she asked the computer where he was, it would say it couldn’t locate him (yes, he’d already figured out how to block the comm signal).

Until later that night. There was a soft knock on the door to her quarters and a “Dee?” His voice sounded a little tense. “Dee, you in there?”
