While Lieutenant McKenzie Lovejoy went to her department she was happy to see that her people were doing their jobs. She then went to her office the next deck up and got her office set up and ready to go for people to come and see her but they were already all busy and wasn’t expecting to see anyone. However, being the Chief Engineer of the vessel means that she’ll be kept busy no matter how busy it’ll be. Having to be on board, means that she’s part of the department heads and senior staff. However, being part of the senior staff means that she has more responsibility then her staff in engineering. Which felt great only because it was something that she wanted to feel something. This is something that she wanted to do for a long while since she was on one vessel but it just didn’t work out very well. So being here on the USS Wolverine and being the new Chief Engineer felt great. If her little sister was here, she’d outrank her and even though her sister isn’t on board the Wolverine, she technically outranks her now anyways.
