Dradvia didn’t sleep. How could she not knowing if Sisnil was telling the truth or if he was another well trained liar of the Syndicate.

She never thought he was purposely there for her. She didn’t think shebwas worth that much to the Syndicate. She did know, however, they would be extremely happy to make an example of her. It would cut down on those that tried to run.

Did the CO really know what he was risking having someone like Sisnil on board? How much the Syndicate would love to retrieve someone from an Intel ship.

The thoughts and memories kept her up most of the night. So the next morning, she took a cold shower to shock herself awake and then went for breakfast. She didn’t know what Dr. Tessan’s policy on drinks in sickbay. So she stayed in her seat in the Galley trying to down the coffee as quickly as possible.

Sisnil didn’t sleep either. He couldn’t. All he could hear was… nothing, the absence of his brother. Today was the day of his medical check in, so he made his way to the galley for breakfast. He wasn’t really hungry but… going without food would be stupid.

He sat down at a table with his food and then looked up… And it was Dradvia. He took a bite of his food wordlessly.
