Nathan moved casually out of the transporter and into the halls of the ship. I was nice to have a permanent home again. His last year had largely been off world dealing with surveillance to finalize his Intelligence training. He loved the field work, talking with people trying to gather information without actually letting on that he was gathering information. It was however nice to know where his pillow would be at night.

The doors to sickbay opened with a loud sissp, and closed again almost as quickly. He look around. “Excuse me, he said to a random medical officer “I’m her for my medical, is there someone who can assist me?” he asked

The officer nodded,

“Oh, yes, let’s see…”

He looked over his shoulder toward a bed occupied by an older woman who was doing some kind of adjustments to her prosthetic leg.

“Uhm, it might be a bit before she’s-“

“Wait, no, hold on I’ll be over in one moment, please.” the woman hurriedly interrupted.

She rushed to finished reattaching her leg and stood up from the bed. Then with little trouble walked over to the others with a friendly smile,

“My apologies, I noticed some slipping this morning and need to take care of it. But, it’s all better now. I am Dr. García, and I will be doing your medical examination. So please, have a seat so we can get started.”

The ensign also might have also noticed that her left eye was also a prosthetic, but appeared to be a cybernetic implant newer than her leg.
