Alita laughed.

“Yeah, I guessed something like that. By the time my brother, Donnie, and my cousin, RJ, were about this age I was already at the academy and didn’t spend a lot of time around younger boys, or whatever.”

Alita stopped talking and began pacing. She still wasn’t quite used to the particular spring in Cel’s legs.

“I swear, if I don’t get an answer from science, medical, or even engineering, in like the next thirty seconds, I’m out of here.” she said attempting to be stern but sounding more like a petulant teenager.

Auzria had chosen to come check in on the.. officers, to see how they were holding up.. but most to make sure they hadn’t destroyed anything in their frustration. Stepping into the holosuite, it didn’t take long for the middle-aged scientist to find her way to the COS and the Ensign. “You lot seem to be doing mighty fine,” Sarcasm dripped from the scientist’s tone. “Heard you commed science and sickbay. Everything all right?”

ALita jumped to her feet and glared then couldn’t help but laughed a bit. That must have looked ridiculous in Cel’s young body.

“No. We are most definitely not alright. I want my body back. Let’s start by telling me who’s holding this up? What have you learned so far? Can I do something more than play trains?”

She shot the questions rapid fire not giving a damn about former etiquette.

OOC: I couldn’t find any actual research done on their predicament.. so.. hopefully this is accurate.

“Geez, you gonna give me a few seconds to answer the first question before shooting me down with a gazzilion others?” Auzria sighed.

“Science has been focussed on dealing with the disease that has come across the crew, specifically for the Commander and Counselor. We haven’t been able to look too much into your predicament, as of right now. However, with the first round of vaccinations underway, we should be able to go full throttle into searching for an answer.”

“If you need something to do, and you will promise not to be pestering, maybe you can help us with figuring out how to help you both..” She glanced between them, “How does that sound.. Alita?” She forced herself to glance at Cel’s body. “It will give you something more to do than play with trains.“
