OOC: Made some tweaks and additions to match character bio. Sorry to negate some of what you put here - but I hope its ok. Kept the temporal part and the ending as is :)OOC: Well, there was a point of leading you to some unknown secret room in the Department of Temporal Investigations. But I guess an unassuming and seemly normal transporter pad that happened to be a temporal transporter pad hidden in plain sight is okay too… Making some few corrections to your corrections.
It was the beginning of another week and Andreas Mado could be seen moving about the corridors of Starbase 47. It was a backwater base on some forgotten border of Starfleet, but it was one of the few places the Federation Security Agency felt comfortable sending the man. He was on his way to office. Along the way he came face to face with a mother and daughter. Civilians aboard the base. A smile came across the aging man’s face as he greeted them, “Good morning my dears!” The mother gave a rushed nod, before yanking her daughter down the corridor. Some mumbling could be heard… something about a “bad man.”
Mado let out a slight cackle as he continued on his way. As he arrived at his office, he threw down a satchel. Looking at his normally empty desk, he spotted a sheet of paper. Nothing was sent in paper anymore, and it made the agent suspicious. He cautiously moved towards his desk, and picked up the paper with his index finger and thumb. Dangling it in front of him, he cocked his head sideways to read it. An order from the brass… another reassignment.
The sheet contained little information. A encrypted ship name, and a vague order
…
Ensure that the vessel is operating in the best interests of Federation
Report on any violations of the Prime Directive and basic rights afforded to all life forms
…The order was signed by an Admiral Frederic Fitzpatrick.
The name was unfamiliar to him… but with so many Admirals in Starfleet, it was hard to keep track of them all. Half of them were paper pushers anyway.
Oddly enough, the document was stamped the Department of Temporal Investigations. Mado raised an eyebrow. Had they really run out of places to send him. He spoke aloud, “Resorting to new time periods are we?”
It was of no consequence to the investigator, the orders were familiar enough counter intelligence and law enforcement. Before Mado could have a seat his PaDD lit up. An order to report to the transporter room. Still smiling, he let the paper slip from his fingers, cascading back on the empty desk. The investigator kept nothing in his office, or really anywhere else. Picking up his satchel, he went on his way.
Once he reached the transporter room he found a security officer, specifically a Department of Temporal Investigations agent, present with a blindfold. The man handed it to him. Mado looked over the blindfold before giving the officer a blank stare, “Really now?” DTI agents were known to be like Vulcans – emotional-less, stoic and serious. The impressed he got was between a glare and “I don’t believe why we are doing this” look back at Mado. Mado complied. Stepping on the transporter pad, the investigator was still clueless of where he was being sent this time.
Once Mado was on was on the pad, a Starfleet Engineer at a nearby terminal said, “Energizing!”
And with that he disappeared… into the past.
A surprised Transporter Chief in Transporter Room 2 discovered the transporter being activated and found a Federation Security Agent materializing before him. He activated the security force field around the transporter.
=/\= Transporter Room 2 to Captain Boudreaux, please report to Transporter Room 2 immediately! Transporter Room 2 to Security, intruder alert. Person has been contained in a security force field for now. =/\=

Mado raised the blindfold off his head with his left pointer finger. His right hand still carrying his satchel. As the blindfold dropped, his white hair dangled over his eyes for a moment. It was a clear he was on a Federation Starship and no one was happy about it. He was familiar at least with the second part.
Dropping his arms at his side, he stood patiently to see what would happen next.
Andreas Mado (FSA Lieutenant)
On his way to the transporter room, a million things went through Remy’s mind. First and foremost was What now? What was the next curveball this mission was going to throw at him? He burst into the transporter room with a phaser drawn and aimed it directly at the chest of the man o the pad.
Having served in Intel for many years, he recognized the insignia of the man but was surprised to see the officer standing in his transporter room.
When he spoke, his Cajun accent was unmistakable. “Who de ‘ell are you and ‘ow did you get on my ship!?!?”
Boudreaux (CO)
The security agent looked puzzled. He knew he was looking at a ship’s captain, but he couldn’t place the accent. In his mind he wondered just how far back the FSA had sent him. Moving slowly he reached into his breast pocket and pulled out his badge. Swiping it, a digital display came on with his badge number and the insignia of the FSA. Hopefully the FSA had put enough protocols in place that his badge was still verifiable.
“Federation Security. Lietenant Andreas Mado.” The man was rather calm for someone trapped in a force field. “With whom am I speaking?”
Mado (FSA)
GM
“Lower de force field, Ensign.”
With his phaser still drawn, Remy indicated the newcomer should toss his badge to the NE security officer that had arrived with the captian to verify it.
Mado looked at his badge for a moment and back at the phaser. Tossing the badge over he complied with the captain’s order.
“I am Capt. Remy Boudreaux. Dis is my ship, de USS Wolverine. Min’ telline me ‘ow you ‘appened to get transported 1500 years into de past?”
The agent tried to recall the name, but he was never very good with Starfleet history outside of a few admirals. 1500 years. He wondered how the captain managed that calculation, but figured he ought to say something before he felt the quick stun of a phaser. “Hello Captain. I understand that this visit may come as a surprise to you, but the Federation’s temporal departments tend to operate mysteriously.”
Taking one slow step forward and lowering his hands slightly he continued, “I assure you that I have no weapons on me.” At this point, Mado dropped his satchel to the ground, “You see, I only found out that I was coming here a little less than an hour ago.”
The security officer took the badge to the transporter controls and entered Mado’s information.
After a moment, he responded. “ID is verified, Captain. Lt. Andreas Mado of the Federation Security Agency.”
Boudreaux (CO)
Mado nodded at the confirmation. Perhaps it would ease the captain’s mind. Staring at the phaser and pointing slightly in its direction, he attempted to de-escalate things a bit more, “Perhaps we can have a more proper introduction … maybe somewhere with a seat.”
OOC: correcting some carrots.
Lt. Mado (FSA)
Remy lowered and holstered he phaser. He looked over the badge before handing it back to Mado. The Lt. mentioned the DTI, that would explain his presence as to how. The question now was why?
Mado felt his body loosen up a bit as the captain lowered his phaser. At this point, he began to wonder what the DTI already knew about the vessel and its crew.
“You will es’cuse me for beine a bit suspicious, bu’ I am no’ used to ‘avine visitors show up in my transporter room unless dey are invited,” Remy stated.
“If you will be so kind so join me in my Ready Room, per’aps we can get dis all sorted out, no?”
Mado nodded, “That would be splendid.” He held out his satchel to the nearby security officer for a second, allowing him to scan it before proceeding.
The doors swooshed open and Remy exited the room, expecting Mado to follow. The security guard waited a moment for the Lt. , then fell into step behind him.
Boudreaux (CO)
Once seated in the captain’s ready room, Mado decided it would be best to allow Remy to do the talking. Although the Captain seemed generally surprised, he wondered if some recent violation aboard the Wolverine had prompted this journey. If that were the case, surely the Captain would be able to start piecing it together. If not, perhaps something was on the horizon. Either way, he began to study the Captain’s body language for any clues.
