Stepping up to the door to the Captains office, the new XO of the Wolverine took a slow breath and made sure his focus wasn’t on any of the activity going on around him, but on the door in front of him and to the woman beside him.

“I think this shirt is too small,” he whispered, adjusting his shoulders and pulling at the bottom fabric slightly to try and get it to fit better. “Either that or those pancakes you made me eat this morning made me gain a few extra kilo’s.” He looked at her sideways and smirked.

“You ready for this?” Darius asked, “This tin can is a fair bit smaller than the Olympic. They probably only spared a wardrobe and a microscope for the Science Lab.” Reaching out, he pressed the chime to announce their arrival.

Captain Erin had been sitting behind his desk for the past hour, slightly tapping the edge with his foot as he concentrated on his updated roster. With Remy god knows where, Command thought it would have been a good idea to shake things up. They made Bryson the permanent Captain while brisking away his XO and CMO. However, he thought it was for the best after Lily left him to drown in Sickbay with a magical mop bucket, or when she feed them to that morale-boosting maniac. Bryson scrolled through the names and stopped at the new officers.

“Darus Morgan..... oddly familiar name.....” He said aloud to himself and was able to confirm his suspicion when he saw the Olympic as one of the new XO’s previous postings. Before he could continue reading on, the bell to his ready room went off.

“Come in!” Bryson called out, hoping it wasn’t another fresh-eyed Crewman being pranked by their Section Chief.

The door slid open and Darius turned sideways slightly, looking at Megan. “After you,” he beckoned her inside first with his hand.
