Baker headed over to Black and said, “Ensign, you’re with me. There’s a Jem’Hadar ship buried in that planetoid and we’re going to investigate. Follow me to the shuttle bay. Bring a phaser and tricorder, just in case.” With that he headed to the turbo lift and took it to the shuttle bay.

When he got there he went straight into a shuttle and started prepping her for launch.

James heard jem hadar and picked a type one phaser , and put it in his boot. Plus a type three phaser. Grabbing a tricorder he double timed it to the shuttle sat next to baker strapped in , “ hello im ensign black , we have not met yet.

The ensign seemed full of energy, which threw Baker off briefly. Regaining himself he nodded and said, “Basil Baker, Petty Officer.” He extended his hand out to Black to shake.
“I’ll pilot us out,” Baker said punching in the correct commands into the shuttle, “Keep an eye on our scanners as we approach. That ship may look incapacitated, but I don’t want to take any chances with the Jem’Hadar. They’re a nasty bunch. Could even give Klingons a run for their money.”
Baker hit the comm on the shuttle to patch them to the bridge. =^=Baker to bridge, we’re ready to launch.=^=

James shook bakers hand, as he checked out the gear on him,To make sure that it was ready. ”I just graduated from the academy, this is my first ship. The ensign looked anxiously at the floor trying to count the rivets, he was ready for his first mission. He just hopes that it’s wasn’t his last.

Basil looked over the ensign and tried to mask a disconcerted look. He was going to investigate a Jem’Hadar ship with a green ensign fresh out of the academy. He steeled himself for what lay ahead and began to punch in the commands for their departure. As they left the shuttle bay, Basil quoted, “They shall come all for violence: their faces shall sup up as the east wind, and they shall gather the captivity as the sand.”

The shuttle slid smoothly through space en route to the planetoid that looked not unlike the old comic strip personality ‘The Thing’ - mottled and lumpy with coloration on the orange to brown to black. For a small world it looked more like a bruise in space. As the shuttle drew closer sensors were able to pick out the identified corroded nose of the Jen’Hadar vessel. Closer optical magnification would show it to be wedged between the walls of what may have been a cavern behind, but certainly it had to have been there for a reason. There was no immediate power readings. They would need to be in closer for better scans, though initial scans show a cavity behind the dead ship.
