T’Mor was expecting an uneventful physical. There were bound to be some slight disturbances to her system, being as she had spent the last few months on Vulcan. Some slight changes as her body once again got use to the more generic atmospheric conditions on a starship. Having to adjust back into a proper sleeping pattern was another minor inconvenience. Still, nothing to be overly concerned about. A simple visit to clear T’Mor to resume duty was all that was needed. She entered the sickbay and waited for the next available medical staff to see her.

“Hello,” Lily said coming around the corner. “How can I help you?” The crew of the Wolverine was not massive but not so small everyone knew each other’s middle names. She had heard some new crew coming to the ship and Lily wondered if this woman might be one of them.

Lily Locksley CMO

“Ensign T’Mor,” said the younger Vulcan, standing at attention. “Reporting for a mandatory physical evaluation before resuming duty.”

“Though I have been on leave for some time, I assure you that I am in peak physical h-” T’Mor stopped to stifle an involuntary yawn, and tried her best to disguise it as a purposeful deep breath, “I am in peak physical health.”

“Do you need some coffee or tea,” Lily asked with a small chuckle, “or is my company putting you to sleep.” Her tone was happy and nothing about her words or mannerisms indicated Lily took offense to the yawn or was sarcastic about offering the officer some caffeine.

“A minor side effect as I readjust to standard Federation time tables. As I am sure you are already aware, I have just recently return from Vulcan.” T’Mor paused. It would likely be unnecessary to explain any further details. However, it still brought up an emotional response to think back on the last 3 months.

“If a dose of caffeine is your medical recommendation, tea would be preferred.” T’Mor said, keeping a stoic demeanor one would expect.
