Erin (XO)

“Logs ready. I can route them to the viewscreen if you want or keep them here on my console screen?” Petrov said speaking to the Captain.

He was a little curious to know what they had found that he would be so interested in.

It was shortly after this message that the young Vulcan Ensign exited the turbo lift onto the main bridge. T’Mor slipped onto the bridge and almost tip-toed over to Petrov. Though still standing at attention, there was a slight tilt in her stance toward the Chief Engineer. Bits of plant matter fell from her jet-black hair onto the floor and console. She clutched a PADD in her hands in front of her.

“Sir,” she said, barely above a whisper,

“This is the Environmental Hazards Report that was supposed to be aboard The Howlett. The science team was unable to complete it before the shuttle launch.”

She paused, glancing away for a moment toward the captain. Perhaps this wasn’t the best time, she thought. Especially if anyone on the bridge were to inquire why the reports were late.

” I was instructed that you, Lieutenant Commander, would be the one who could send it securely to the landing party. With Captain Boudreaux’s permission, of course.”

She held out the PADD toward him.

“I’m not entirely sure to what you refer.” He said to T’Mor. Which was true.

“Better to wait for them to come back to the ship I think.” He added.

“It is important that they receive this information, per regulations.”

OOC: With the CO no longer with us, Petrov can make the next move :)

Assuming Command Petrov waved off the report.

He then pushed the button to put the logs on the main screen as he sat down once again in the COs chair. I feeling he was a little more comfortable with this time.

=^=Petrov to XO shuttle on its way.=^=

Petrov nodded to Ops to launch the shuttle.

T’Mor stood to the side quietly for a moment, PADD in hand. She wasn’t exactly sure how to interpret all of the planetary scans and data contained in the report. Though she had skimmed through the section that had mentioned “Biosphere Predictions”, to see what she could deduce about potential plant life on the planet.

“Sir,” she addressed Petrov again, “I understand that you are occupied with other matters. Is there a way I myself could securely transfer the report to the shuttle? The information could be important for the safety of the away team. Lieutenant Rhodes would be the most qualified to review this report regardless.”

A menu came up on the logs showing log options from the Captain, XO, CSO and CE. There was no COS; given the limited crew of the Pythagoras, the XO did double duty as Security. By nature of the filtering, the logs were ‘faded’ in text options to only show logs since the Pythagoras arrived at the Myst System. There were:
Captain - 3 logs
XO - 2 logs
CSO - 6 logs
CE - 1 log

Bryson was on his way to the Bridge when he received word that the CO had a family emergency back home and had to leave right away. Commander Erin knew he’d reach out in a matter of time, but they had work to do and Bryson couldn’t let the mission at hand leave his cross hairs.

“What to do got?” Commander Erin asked as the turbolift to the Bridge opened. Bryson took out the PaDD from his pocket as he approached the CE, and handed it to the man. “From the container we found on the ship, Chief.” The Commander stated.

There were other files that were related to system diagnostics and the like, sensor reports etc, though the logs were what were foremost on that, the adaptive AI evidently considering logs were more likely the target of the bridge crew than other diagnostics.
