Relieved to be back aboard the ship,steadying herself on the transported pad she checks on the creature in her hands before heading to sickbay. She pets it gently andnames it George though she can’t very well hug it and squeeze it asit’s to small.

Ensign Mantis[Doctor]

Once back in sickbay she begins hearing rumors about maybe needing the creature on the bridge. She hoped no one would come take George from her, she would not have it. tucking him inside a pocket of her uniform she began carrying on with old experiments as far out of the way as she could find a place.

Noticing her friend nurse Noboskie was in sickbay as well she tried to get his attention without anyone noticing;.

Noboskie happened to look up from whatever he was doing noticing his doctor friend having many odd expressions on her face she was in d]need of his attention and quietly walked over realizing she was trying to get his attention without anyone noticing.

She looked up at Noboskie looking all around hoping no one was paying them any attention she put a thin hand into her pocket telling him with her eyes to kook down there. She carefully revealed George to him then quickly tucked him back in....

He looked wide eyed at the creature then turned away looking around nervously hoping no one noticed hewas relived when she put it away again. Looking at her even morewide eyed he mouthed what thefuck? then went on carrying out the experiment the dr. was performing.....

She ignored is mouthed comment and continued working as she put the child back into her pocket not really knowing what to say to him. getting a sense from the creature that it wasn’t necessary that she reply.

Noboskie turned from her then and continued the experiment mnoyt knowing what else to do since she did not reply. He hoped whatever it was in her pocket would be happy and safe in her care.
